TPC of Myrtle Beach 3.9 5 34 34
A Lot of Fun! Great course! Nice fairways with woodlands off to the sides! Best course out of the three I played at Myrtle, Wizard and Norman at Barefoot Landing. July 22, 2014
Vaulted into my top 5 on The Strand At one time I lived an hour from Myrtle Beach and I played several years in the World Am so I have played several of the course on the strand. TPC of Myrtle Beach found itself in my top 5 courses in the area as soon as I walked off of the 18th green. The pro shop, practice area and course itself were all top notch. We were treated like members by everyone affiliated with the course. The course itself was in great condition and the layout is fair for all levels of golfers. The location is perfect as well if you are looking for a few days of golf as you can easily pair this course up with Caledonia and Blackmoor for a great three days of golf. April 16, 2014
One of my favorite TPCs I'm beginning to think that the TPCs that don't host tour events are more accommodating to the everyday man than the big shot TPCs that host the pros and TPC Myrtle Beach is a fine example. The days of hosting the Champions Tour are long gone, but the facilities are still here, the Fazio design still in tact and, being Myrtle Beach, the long weekender runs the show. One of the things that sticks out most about TPC Myrtle Beach ,beyond the Fazio design itself, is just how natural and scenic the course is. Birdlife is plentiful, making it a pleasant day out here regardless of your scorecard. Also, being a more premium play on the Grand Strand, they seem to pack the tee times in a little less than some of the other more middle-tier options. TPC is certainly a great option if you're on the South Strand. February 14, 2014
A True TPC Experience TPC Myrtle Beach is well worth whatever you pay for it. Great layout, great facilities (clubhouse, range, bar), fairways and tee boxes in really good shape. Greens were mowed real tight and they rolled true and fast! February 5, 2014
6 hour round and staff didn't care. This was one of the longest rounds of my life. I called the clubhouse from the 10th tee after a 3 hour front nine. They sent a ranger out who said there was nothing wrong with the pace of play???? Other than being a TPC course I see no reason to play it with so many great courses in the area. It's very tight off of the tees and just not a lot of fun. Condition was poor relative to other area courses. After the round I went into the clubhouse to let them know how slow the course was playing and the guy behind the counter told me he was to busy to talk to me. I am a 9 handicap and play about 60 rounds per year. I will not return. November 23, 2013
Its TPC..nuff said! Very immaculate course. Played in rain and high winds. Felt 10times more challenging. Fast greens and tight championship bermuda fairways. I will be back! October 9, 2013
A round of golf we will remember for a long time. Great day. Very nice clubhouse with an excellent staff. The golf course wasn't pristine, but the design is incredible and the final holes are amazing. The best challenge in the area. October 4, 2013
Course is worth playing on it's merit. I will not return or bring my group back. Paying to be harrassed by staff is not on my list of fun things. Everything was okay until we finished the round and had to deal with the cart return people. I refused to argue and just walked away as I came to the area to enjoy myself and the golf. I will return to Myrtle Beach but have removed TPC from our play list for the next trip. There are many courses in the area that understand customer service. I find this sad as I did like the course and the proshop personel were professional and courteous. This is the first time I have pulled a Fazio course from our play list . October 2, 2013
