Indigo Creek Golf Club
Cheap and reasonable
in early December the greens fee was only $20 with cart. There had been rain earlier in the week and the course was very wet. It didn't seem to have dried our very well. In fact, the areas immediately in front of the greens were almost marshy. A ball landing short of the green was sure to plug. For hat reason I would rate the course only average. In summer it might be much better. But, for $20 with cart it is hard to complain.

Played on a $20 holiday special
Overall, course was in good shape. Greens were true, although they were a bit slow, considering they had just been mowed. Only complaint was that the approaches were very soft/wet - any shot short of green stopped dead. However, for Decem, ber, course conditions were better than average. Played for $20 - can't beat that!

Good course to play
From golfnow reservation to bag drop to check-in and playing the round. It was a very enjoyable round of golf. Got paired with a local who was very friendly and helped point out tips for shorter paths to the green.

A good value
We enjoyed our round. Staff were very friendly and the free "rental" clubs for one player was a nice touch. Course was in overall good condition with a few muddy parts on the edges of the fairways. Bunkers ranged from very soft and playable to rock hard. A good value that we enjoyed

played 12 holes in 4 hours and change. Then waked off the course.

They let people go before their tee time so it was 4 or 5 groups trying to start at the same time
Poor tee time management. Felt pushed the whole time they should have spaced the groups apart. They need a Marshall at the first tee to keep groups from teeing off to fast when the group in front of them is waiting to hit their second shot. Had to watch behind us all day for people hitting into us. The course needs more management. Will not play this course again

Not a great golf experience
For a golf mecca that Myrtle Beach is, Indigo looks neglected. An interesting course with shots that need to be place to avoid trouble. The course was not well manicured as I would expect MB to be. The weather was good but the course was cart path only as the fairways were very spongy all over. Nearly all shots plugged ( no roll) but was not the fault of the course. Overall giving forgiveness for the weather we will not go back again.
