Indigo Creek Golf Club
Bait and Switch
Indigo Creek partners with Golfnow so my assumption was that they "come together" on pricing. Apparently I was wrong. When I arrived I expected to pay $29 and for range balls to be included. The man in the clubhouse said our Golfnow rate is a flat rate of $45 and $29 is wrong. I explained that Golfnow offers tee times and discounts based on time, availability, demand, etc. and he said that's not how they do it. I even showed him my email saying I should pay $29 upon arrival and range balls were included. He said to pay $45 or don't golf. I ended up paying thinking I could iron out the mistake later. The course had some fun holes but was in average to poor shape except for the greens. The fairways were mainly mud even though the area has received rain just once in the past week. The golf carts seemed old and were gas powered for some reason even though the terrain was incredibly flat. I try to be fair when reviewing but this was poorest experience I've had reserving on Golfnow and the course itself left a lot to be desired.

indigo was virtually unplayable
Cart path only due to recent rain. However, even if it was dry, you would be hard pressed to find a decent lie in fairway or rough. greens were fair. Around 14th hole became aware that there was a six some 2 groups in front of us. Of course there was no ranger even though course was packed. Even at hot deals price will not return.

The Greens were good
Unfortunately, that was all that was good. I would suggest Golf Now drop this course.Fairways swampy, slow play, no washrooms, no marshall, no food cart, broken or empty ball washers, delayed because of lack of carts, groups sent off out of order Just a poorly run operation.

Love this course
I play this course whenever we come to Myrtle Beach and I am always happy with it. Course is challenging and you need to think through your round, you definitely do not pull the driver out every hole.. Good bunkers, water hazards and some long holes. Will play here again.

Enjoyed the outing. Fairways have not turned green yet, but they were tinted. It is a good Psychological idea. The course is well laid out and has its challenges. The staff was very polite, cheerful and helpful. Nice day overall.

Good Deal - Needs Some WoW factor
We joined another couple for 18 holes riding at just after 1pm. Course played reasonably quickly - we weren't held up. Lots of water and sand. Fairways and greens in good shape for the time of year. We got a good price of 24. on GolfNow so the price was right for this course. It lacks visual impact, and is in fact a bit boring. The houses around the course don't allow for any forested area. I believe a good landscaper could add some pop to the holes.
All in all, a good day of golf.

I've played this course before in the fall and the difference in what the course was like in the early spring was great. Of course the fairways were trimmed very close and had not begun to grow so there were many spots where the grass was spotty. The ruff was dormant and brown. My biggest complaint was the pace of play was very slow. It took us 3 hours to play 9 holes and 5+ hours for the 18.

Never to return.
I know that Myrtle Beach has had a lot of rain this season but playing this course in the conditions we experienced yesterday and paying regular green fees was ridiculous. I have no problem with cart path only which was wise because carts would have been stuck in the fairways. Surely, either there should be some concession as to fee paid for these conditions or the course should not be open for play. Very disappointing as balls plugged in the fairway a number of times and always on approaches or chips to the green.
