Edgewater Golf Club
The course had tee's for every level of play. The course was in magnificent condition. I recommend this course to every person that has ever picked up a club!

A hidden gem
My wife and I played this course by mistake - we thought it was associated with the Edgewater sign we saw closer to the Del Webb community. Although it ended up being another 20 miles away, it was well worth the drive. Super friendly staff and a terrific course. Greens were a tad slow as they recover from aeration 2 weeks ago, but they were in great shape. All the elevation changes made for a terrific change of pace. Hard to believe we got a rate of $25 each to play - easily a course worth double that.

We played as a threesome, could have played a lot quicker if slower folks would allow groups to play thru. This has happened a few times while playing this course. Course is in excellent shape. Nice, true greens that are very well maintained. Fairways get the same vote. Workers try to keep bunkers raked, but players on the course forget to rake traps after playing in them. Play the course, have some patience and enjoy the scenery....

Out of the way Pleasure
While a bit out of the way (hour from Pineville) Edgewater is worth the trip. Greens had been aerated 4 days earlier so they were not smooth, but the that was expected. If the Greens come back like the Tee boxes and Fairways, which were in excellent condition, then I would rate this course a 10.

Great for the money
A hard course because it can get really tight at times but no tricky shots and greens rolled amazing.

Not for the duffer
Course was in good shape, with great greens that putted true and held long shots to the green. Played from the Navy tees, 6102 yds and my only complaint was the rough was cut too high for the weekend golfer. Many of the fairways sloped and a good drive to the wrong side of the fairway could roll into the rough less than six feet off the fairway and it couldn't be found unless you walked right over it. It was difficult to hit a long iron out and made going into the rough a one shot penalty. Overall, a nice experience with a wonderful staff and the course was far enough out in the boonies that at times it absolutely quiet except for the wind.
