The Spring Hollow Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course. The Course opened in 1994 in the hills of northern Chester County. Architect John Thompson created a layout that blends in the features of this one time dairy farm on the grounds of the state owned hospital, Pennhurst. The par 70, 6008 yard layout has five par 3's, three par 5's and ten par 4's which results in a variety of shots. Meadows that define some of the holes were left in place and they give the course a natural look and feel. From one side of the course to the other there is a 110 foot change in elevation. Water hazards in the form of wetlands, creeks, and ponds come into play on six of the golf holes. The frequent and often dramatic elevation changes affords the players not only challenging shot selections, but also beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Spring Hollow Golf Course 3.8 5 33 33
Worth playin a round I have played here before and have always enjoyed myself. It was a windy day, and the greens were like putting on granite (i dont think they have cut them but probably rolled them). It is defiantely a course you should play to see how you like it. Very hilly, which makes some holes shorter and some longer. April 16, 2014
Spring hollow was good This course was maintained really well. For what it costs it was well worth it. April 1, 2014
great value, beautiful bar and deck area the course has a few challenging holes and is a good fun round. great bar/rest and deck area for post golf relaxing. March 24, 2014
Not a bad round Pace of play was pretty good for a Sunday morning- about 4 hours 15 minutes to play 18 on a cold and windy day. Course was in ok condition, many pitch marks on the greens, but the fairways were well maintained. Staff was friendly. November 11, 2013
This course is well maintained and is a good value. The course honored the golfnow deal with no problem. November 10, 2013
Nice course no driving range I like this course alot. it is in good shape and is a nice layout as well as close to home. my only complaint is that they do not have a driving range to warm up on. there is a driving range about 5 minute drive away so it wasnt a big deal. November 6, 2013
Course is very short I liked the course but its just to short for me, the senior golfer is going to love this place and that's mostly what you see on the course. October 20, 2013
Plays much longer than the card but value priced I found Spring Hollow very challenging because of how hilly the course was. Arguably it is not a course that can be walked, even for people who regularly walk. Almost every hole's approach shot was uphill, with more blind shots than I reasonably expect. I thought a third of the course's greens could not be seen from fairway and only the top of the flag was visible. The 6000 yard yardage from the blue tees was deceiving, as the course played hundreds of yards longer than that. I did find the course conditions well maintained for such a reasonably priced course. The clubhouse staff was friendly and accommodating. October 15, 2013
