Shannopin Country Club
Shannopin was built in 1920 and still remains one of the best golf courses in Pittsburgh. Shannopin not only offers one of the greatest tests of golf in Pittsburgh but also remains a stately but charming and comfortable getaway. The course is well maintained and the clubhouse feels like a retreat into an English country home. Visitors continue to be amazed by its natural beauty and isolation, its superb condition and the sheer enjoyment to be derived from playing. The Club is sustained by the friendliness and affability of its members and their obvious enjoyment of each other.
