Juniata Golf Course

Juniata Golf Course

Located just minutes north of center city Philadelphia is Juniata Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course designed by golf architect, Ed Ault. Juniata is considered a hidden treasure by many locals and offers a wide array of unique and challenging holes. Completed in 1930, Juniata Golf Club is a relatively short course that was designed to take advantage of its naturally rolling terrain. The par-66 layout features a classic design and requires precision shot making as several of the undulating greens are medium in size and are often guarded by well-placed bunkers. Adding to the challenge is Frankford Creek that makes its presence known on a total of six holes. The uphill 360-yard 6th hole features a shallow kidney shaped green that like the rest of the course emphasizes proper club selection. With its friendly layout and friendly staff golfers often find themselves returning to Juniata Golf Club time and time again.
