Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club
Named after our 32nd President, Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club is located in South Philadelphia adjacent to the Philadelphia Sports Complex. The par 69 Florida-style layout was established in 1940 and is relatively flat and open. Since club selection is often dictated by the prevailing winds, you can play FDR often and never play the same course twice. The fairways are wide providing generous landing areas and are complemented with average-sized greens that are well guarded by numerous bunkers. In addition to the natural wetlands, a canal runs through the course and crosses the fairway of the 420-yard signature 10th hole. Overall, water hazards can come into play on a total of ten holes. Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club features spectacular views of the Philadelphia skyline that will serve as a backdrop on many of your shots.
