Cobbs Creek Golf Club - The Olde Course Course
The Olde Course, noted as a Philadelphia Landmark, is the crown jewel amongst Philadelphia's courses, having been nationally ranked as the #6 Best Municipal Course in by Golfweek Magazine. Designed by renowned course architect Hugh Wilson (architect of the famed Merion-East course in nearby Ardmore, PA), the course is a mature tree-lined golf course that was established in 1916.
Accuracy is a must on the front nine as the layout takes full advantage of the namesake creek, which meanders through the course and comes into play on the first six holes. The back nine is equally as challenging and is highlighted by a string of lengthy holes including the monstrous 638-yard 14th Hole. The Olde Course boasts a long list of awards and accolades and has a tremendous history as it has hosted two PGA Tour Events and has played host to countless tournament events.
