Located between the gently rolling foothills and valleys of the Blue Mountains, Monroe Valley is considered one of the finest public golf courses in Central Pennsylvania. Described by the Lebanon Daily News as "long, tough, and simply the Best in Lebanon County", this Ed Ault par 72 layout is manicured and maintained to the highest standards.

Accuracy is a must as natural ponds and sparkling streams meander through the golf course coming into play on a total of 12 holes. On your approach shots you will find large undulating greens that are well guarded by over 40 finely sculptured bunkers. Simply put, Monroe Valley is as scenic as it is challenging. Measuring at over 7,000 yards Monroe Valley Golf Club is a test for even the most established golfer.

Good conditions for season. I have played Monroe before and enjoy the layout. Greens and fairways were very good, but bunkers were wet and puddled due to recent storms. Had they been drained and manicured, conditions would have been perfect. All in all, a great day and a great value of $13 on GolfNow. November 12, 2012
