Lederach Golf Club is Eastern Pennsylvania's newest creation by Reading-based course architect Kelly Blake Moran. The highly-anticipated layout north of Philadelphia just off exit 31 on the Northeast Extension is amid gorgeous rolling farmland and has a decidedly links feel.

Lederach's difficulty won't be found in forced carries or other modern design gimmicks. Rather, the course will utilize the property's ample undulations, scenic ridges and sweeping valleys. False fronts, collection areas, grass bunkers and swales are just some of the natural hazards Moran has incorporated into his "land-based" design for Lederach.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LOOOOONG Round. I've played this course many times and it is usually in good condition; however, this was the worst condition I've ever seen it. Typically this is a 4* course, but right now it is a 3*. Also they had way to many golfers on the course. We had a 1pm tee time for two. Their website showed only one tee time taken from 12pm to 1pm, as of 11:15am. We got there early to try and get out earlier. There was no starter and we were the fourth group waiting at the first tee at 12:45. Our round took 5:10, way too long. A ranger finally came out to us at the 14th hole (which had a group on the green, a group on the tee and us waiting behind them) to apologize. This is one of my favorite courses in the area, but I don’t have time for a 5+ hour round. Not sure I’ll be back until they can improve the pace of play. September 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fun course I had fun playing from the blues, approx. 6600 yds. As it was the first time playing, I was very much surprised at the severity of the greens. If you are playing there for the first time you need to have readonable expectations because great shots can turn bad because of green contours. Conditions of fairways and tees were average. All in all fun but a little more pricey than other publics in the area. Non-the-less, a fun time! September 28, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by quirky I don't hate it but not a fan of the designs of Kelly Blake Moran in this area and this is no exception. Just too quirky in too many spots on the course with bunkers or hazards you can't see. Also course is very poorly marked for yardage and it was a guessing game all day. It was a 5 plus hour round. After we completed lay on the first hole there were already two groups backed up on the second tee. No marshals on the course as well. September 13, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by 5 hour and 15 minute round 13 minutes between driving to 2nd tee and being able to tee off. We purposely slowed down on the 2nd hole so then only had about an 8 minute wait on hole 3 before we could tee off. The 2 groups directly behind us played hole 2 as 1 group of 7 players and finished the hole on pace due to the backups. The tee times are so close at only 8 minutes apart it creates a lot of waiting. 5 hours and 15 minutes later we finished the round. The online booking both on Golf Now and the courses website may show spots available for 1 or 2 golfers but in my experience you cannot complete the booking as only 1 player it must be 2. I tried to fix this both through Golfnow and directly with the course but to my knowledge it has not been fixed. Greens were a little on the slow side and somewhat bumpy today. September 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Inconsistant greens Greens were inconsistent. It seems they were slower the more they undulate. The course would be so much better if you could get a tempo with the putter. September 7, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Would be good if taken care of Has the potential to be a good course, but unfortunately they don't maintain the course like you'd expect when playing a $75 golf course. Slow greens. Bunkers were atrocious. Totally unkempt, most had sections that were simply hard-pan mud. Many had little to no sand in them, and they weren't prepped at all for play. I'd expect this at a $30 dog track, but for $75, the course should at least be prepped for the day, i.e. greens rolled, bunkers raked, etc.. Pretty nice layout, but unfortunately misses the mark for price point. Icing on the cake was being told to catch up to a group that teed off a half hour before us. Won't be back. September 7, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sadist designed greens. This course is very well maintained for the most part. However since it is almost impossible to find a level landing area in any fairway, is it really necessary to have the greens resemble an amusement park roller coaster? Two putting is quite an achievement on most greens due to the most severe undulations you are likely to find on any public course in the area. On a bright note, I was paired up with two great guys, Steve, Sean and best of all Sean's little daughter, Lexi. I had a great time in spite of seeing more undulations there in 1 day than most people see in a lifetime. September 6, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ledarach September 2015 I played on a thursday AM. I was about 5 minutes late for my 8:42 tee time and was pushed back to a 9:00 time. I was a single and had the day off so no big deal. I was placed behind 3 foursome of senior lady golfers who had a terrible pace of play. I didn't even tee of till about 9:25. I played 3 holes with them in front of me. I averaged 20 minuted on the first and second tee waiting to tee off. By the 3rd tee a group of 4 senior men were now behind me. Not wanting to be a single holding up a foursome, I looped around and played the third hole again. I now had no one behind me and played more relaxed. I unfortunately caught up to the seniors after deliberately taking my time at the turn, had to skip 17 and 18 due to slow play September 4, 2015
