Lederach Golf Club is Eastern Pennsylvania's newest creation by Reading-based course architect Kelly Blake Moran. The highly-anticipated layout north of Philadelphia just off exit 31 on the Northeast Extension is amid gorgeous rolling farmland and has a decidedly links feel.

Lederach's difficulty won't be found in forced carries or other modern design gimmicks. Rather, the course will utilize the property's ample undulations, scenic ridges and sweeping valleys. False fronts, collection areas, grass bunkers and swales are just some of the natural hazards Moran has incorporated into his "land-based" design for Lederach.

Lederach Great course around beautiful homes. At no time, will you every come close to a house. Course is excellent and can't wait to play it again. October 15, 2014
Great course!! Lederarch has 18 really good holes. Everyone talks about the 600 yard 12th hole, but #15 might be the toughest hole on the course. Green complexes provide lot of shot options. October 5, 2014
Put some sand in the bunkers! Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in very good condition, Bunkers were not! Most bunkers had standing water in them and not much sand. Don't know if it's a drainage issue or not. Other than that, I really like this course and the layout. October 1, 2014
Decent course, a little expensive for what it is. Have played Lederach at least a dozen times in the past. Had a very enjoyable round there last week very early in the am (6:30 am). Course is in good condition. As others have said, some people hate the course because of the tricky greens, and some other strange design factors. However, I think this is a challenging layout that is enjoyable to play. I'm not a fan of the greens but otherwise I like the course. It would be nice if they would use a ranger to speed up play on the weekends, sometimes it is very slow and there seems to be no attempt to correct. September 22, 2014
Slow, sloppy and surly. Early tee time found lots of standing water and saturated fairways. Over 5 hours for 18 holes. When mentioned the slow pace to "Player assistant" was told "Sorry sir, That's how it is here every day, especially on weekends" Tried to grab a hot dog at the turn, but no staff was available. Won't be going back any time soon. September 8, 2014
best course in the area This is worth your money and time. The speed is a bit on the low end but the challenging greens are worth it. Enjoy. August 24, 2014
Greens were excellent If you want a semi links course that's kept in great condition with extremely difficult greens on EVERY HOLE then this is your course. August 17, 2014
A cut above many local courses The weather was great; the course was in very good condition for a busy public course. However, the placement for many of the pins was odd if they want to keep pace of play to 4 hours, or 4.5 on weekends. The greens are huge, but the pins were in places that could easily slow down play, and hurt scoring for most golfers. The course is reasonably challenging from the 6000yard green tees, especially for our threesome of 65-year old 15 to 20 handicappers. A good value overall with the special rate--a little high without it. August 16, 2014
