Golden Oaks, Inc., founded in February of 1991 by Robert E. Bean and Emidio Filippini, soon expanded and Golden Oaks Golf Club was constructed in 1994. The golf club itself is full service, and is located in Fleetwood, PA, in beautiful Berks County. Golf course architect Jim Blaukovitch of Quakertown, PA, was contacted to design the course, which is now considered a "Best in Berks."

Golden Oaks Golf Club features an 18-hole, 7,100-yard course with bent grass from tee to green. The course has been rated by Golf Digest with "4 Stars" as one of the top "Places to Play" in the country and was voted as the "Best Public Golf Course" by readers of Berks County Living Magazine.

Play one of the best. Excellent course, with no two holes being similar. A challanging course that plays a little longer than the yardages indicate, but is playable for most all by being realistic with your "tee choices". Greens are faster then even most other upscale public courses. Can be pricey, especially on weekends in season, but deals can be found. Between the course and the restaurant and the bar the drive is worth it if you are a distance awqy. October 12, 2014
Worth the travel time Coming from NJ (1:20 minutes) I try to get a good deal on Golf Now to cover the cost of gas. With that said I always enjoy the course. I was paired with another senior and we had a terrific time. Pace was good (3.5 hours) and the weather was perfect. I usually play black but we played silver and my score was not any better. Still need to chip and putt well to score. Had 5 or 6 pars which is my norm. Course is fairly open and the tight holes are shorter from the silver so I used a four iron instead of my driver and kept it in play. September 4, 2014
Great place to Play The staff is always friendly and the course is always in great shape. It's a hidden Gem September 2, 2014
Wide open First time here. I can see why people like it, fairways are wide open and I used driver on every hole except for the par 3's. It isn't a very difficult course. Ther was no beverage cart which is a downfall. Overall it was a relaxing place to play. Would've liked to use more of the clubs I have in my bag. The par 4's seem very long, but being the first time there could've been club selection on 2nd shot. August 31, 2014
excllent track had a perfect golf day the course was in excellent shape ,the greens were fast and true .the only problem is golfers are not repairing ball marks come on man take a minute and repair them its realy hurting the greens. other then that excellent. its a must play. August 29, 2014
Nice course. Would happily play here again without a second thought. August 26, 2014
Scenic Tree lined Day in the Country Developer did a beautiful job of keeping housing well off course. Thought it played like an old time pre-developer course with beautiful vistas. Golden Oaks true to name - tree lined. I played the championship tees - 6700 yards - gold at this course and it played long because most holes played up hill. Par 3's looked benign but with well manicured faster than normal greens and a little wind they were very challenging. August 16, 2014
Great course This is an excellent course to play. The greens were the fastest I have played all year. August 15, 2014
