Tough course. Great layout and very challenging. Bring extra balls. March 8, 2013
well manicured sweet track but no hot dogs....................... November 19, 2012
Enjoyable Enjoyable course. Easy holes mixed in with hard holes, every hole is unique and memorable. Hilly, but doesn't play that way, it would be a challenge to walk.. Greens are always in nice shape. The course doesn't get a lot of play because of rural location which makes for fast rounds. My partner aced #9 par 3., 173yds. That was exciting. November 17, 2012
Difficult course. Soaked fairways so absolutly no roll on shots. Very challenging course. Played extra difficult because of soggy fairways. November 4, 2012
It is a great course. We drove 60 miles to play it Its a great layout. The roughs were kind of long but they were cutting it while we were there. October 15, 2012
Probably an elite course 50 years ago. To many side hill lies. I enjoy playing this course once a year. Very tough course for the amateur golfer. This course is from out of the past. Excellent greens. Bunkers not taken care of. I can see how it got the name "Oakmont of the North"! October 8, 2012
This is an exceptional course! Great course layout. In very nice condition though we have had a harsh summer. Would recommend to anyone who has game and enjoys a fair challenge. September 28, 2012
the old gal ain't what she used to be Played this course many times in the past. It used to have greens that compared with even the best private courses in PA and OH. It was as challenging as any course around and deserved its rep as th "Oakmont of the North". Not anymore. They have changed many of the holes to make them easier and the greens are now just public course greens.Still not a bad deal at big online fee discounts but not at full price. September 24, 2012
