Scenic course First time playing this course. Nice course with great views. The course itself was very wet with standing water everywhere. A lot of construction going on as well. However that being said, I don't want to criticize. The course itself had just opened and they received a large amount of rain the night before. So I can completely understand the current conditions. i would play this course again. April 14, 2014
Great value We played this course in Nov. - very few people were on the course ( it took my wife and I 3 hours) we took our time and enjoyed everything about the course. It was in great shape with no leaves on the fairway. We got a great deal with golf now. The weather couldn't have better ( no wind - sunny - 52 degrees ) Some holes are quite challenging. I would definitely recommend this course and will play when I get back to the Poconos. November 6, 2013
Beautiful course with hilly fairways. We really enjoyed this course. It was challenging and gave us a good workout. Staff was helpful. October 19, 2013
Rather shabby Course was rather shabby. Pace of play was slow. I called to move up my tee time and the guy said "no since you booked it on golf now. But if you want to cancel with golf now and then pay full price, you can make a new earlier tee time". October 15, 2013
very narrow and confusing very narrow fairways and confusing.. Traffic getting to and from can be very heavy October 6, 2013
Nice Course Thought Fernwood was not as difficult as some mountain courses in Pa, Course was in great shape, staff helpful and friendly.Price was excellent through GolfNow. Bring some extra balls if your not hitting them straight.Would highly recommend this course October 4, 2013
Nice course, especially considerate of women players. The course has some challenging holes, but is not overly long. My wife enjoyed her round, partly because she played very well, but also because the women are given a break on the longer holes. The setting is beautiful and the course is pretty well maintained. We were disappointed that there was no putting green and I didn't see a driving range nearby. All in all, we had an enjoyable round. September 7, 2013
Decent course We played this course on an awesome hot deal. Some of the holes are a little tight and the par 3s are long. Conditioning was pretty good for the most part. A couple of VERY elevated greens make them difficult and the mountain effect really comes into play. One hole had an unfair pin placement, where the hole was on a slope that the ball would roll back from. All in all it's a course worth playing, especially if you can get a good deal. August 24, 2013
