Chef Paul O'Toole oversees all food preparation for The Grille & Pub at Hartefeld and for special events. His philosophy of good food is in great taste combinations and in quality, fresh ingredients. The menu is country casual with a range of choices from chicken pot pie to a great tasting, grilled burger or a braised veal shank. Paul's kitchen takes pride in serving each dish, whether it be a hot dog to a golfer, a sandwich in The Grille or a four course, black-tie event in the Hartefeld Room.
Chef Paul O'Toole was the Executive Chef at Waynesboro Country Club before coming to Hartefeld in June of 1996. He serves as chairman of the board for the Delaware Valley Chefs Association and has been recognized by the American Culinary Federation with many honors including Culinaire of the Year and Chef of the Year.
Hartefeld has an outstanding events facility perfect for weddings, corporate dinners or family celebrations of any kind. The Hartefeld Room, with French doors overlooking our veranda and the 18th green, can accommodate up to 250 guests seated. The Founder's Room can be reserved for parties of up to 30 guests. Wedding packages are available.
