Very challenging Second time here in past two years. Great course. My only complaint was after booking here, got to the course and was told I would have to pay for the cart. Never had that happen before. Really cut the savings of golf now. September 10, 2014
Bring your GPS 3rd time I have played the course over eight years and it is always challenging. The tee boxes were not clearly marked and yardage information was sparse to non-existent making the course more difficult than it should have been. Bring your GPS. September 5, 2014
Great views of the Forrest Very tight course . You need to bring your "A" game. Lots of deer on the course. Great time! Had a tough front nine but killed the back nine. Every time I come up here on vacation, I will definitely play a round. August 20, 2014
Salmon run Loved it beautiful scenery fun to play would love to play it again August 19, 2014
It's definitely worth the drive! This is one of the most beautiful settings for a course that I've ever played. You must be accurate. The course is shorter and quite narrow with some very fun chutes to hit through off the back tees. There is a great variety of elevation change. Be sure to take a player's guide for your round. If you're going to Bandon to golf, go to this GEM about 1 1/2 hours to the south; you won't be dissapointed. August 7, 2014
Fun Fun course. Lots of blind shots. Lots of deer. Decent shape July 31, 2014
Straight Shooters Only Absolutely beautiful course. Ever hole unique and memorable. Winding streams, dense foliage and varied wildlife (river otter included). Need to be straight or bring a lot of balls. Very fair course. Straight you can score, not so straight??? Wish we had a Salmon Run in our neck of the woods. May 19, 2014
Lots of rain. I have played this course several times since 2012. Unfortunately it seems to rain every time I am in town. I still played but the course was soggy. Also a creek runs through the middle of it which I imagine is great during the dry season but seemed to make it worse in the rain. The best part is the course was never busy. Again, I have always played it during the off season. The layout is tuff because the fairways are NARROW!!! No room for error with your drives. Four tea boxes to choose from made it nice since I am not a long hitter. Some of the holes are breathtaking. I definitely recommend anyone play this course if they are in the area. January 8, 2014
