The course has trees, traps and water.
The course was in great shape for Nov.21. Leaves had been cleared away and the greens were in good shape. It was nice that the weather was also great for this time of year.

hidden gem
I had played this course about 5 years ago and had forgotten how lovely it was. It is challenging with 27 holes. There is a good variety of holes with some that are treelined on both sides. There is evevation changes to keep you guessing. The 9th hole on the Blue course is a great finishing hole. Unforunately we played shortly after the effects of Hurricane Sandy so I was pepared for a wet course but surprisingly there was no standing water and ok for playing.I would definitely come back

Worth the drive for the average golfer!
A little bit of a drive as the course is located in the small country town of Renton in Norfolk County. Wonderful clubhouse with great staff and good food. This course is most suited to the mid to high handicapper. With three different nines, replay will not be boring. Offers a real variety of holes and with each a varied level of difficulty. Played it during the drought of summer and also in the fall. Maintenance in both seasons was very good with great attention paid to leaf blowing during our October outing.

Best conversion from 18 to 27 holes
This course was great when it was 18 holes. It's still great as 27 holes. They split the 18 into three 6's and added three new holes to each of the original 6. All three nines are fun, challenging and interesting. Elevation changes, tree lined fairways, green side bunkers, ponds left and right with smooth elevated greens add to the golfing experience. It can be a little confusing figuring out the direction to the next tee in one area of the course. All three nines meet at the 6th hole and following the signs can be a distraction to you and other golfers if they are teeing off in the imediate area as you drive by to get to your next tee. Other than that it's always a fun and challenging course. Keep the ball straight off the tee.

The course features three nines nestled within apple orchards.
The nines at Greens of Renting are always in good shape this includes the driving range. The crews at the greens provide a great golfing enviroment for all golfers of any level. There are ample tees for all levels of play. The nines will provide any golfer with a decent challenge just select a tee and go. The professenal attitude is transfered from the course to the management through all the staff at the greens. They provide a great experience for all at the greens of Renton.

the greens ran true
-had a terrible round but enjoyed the course
-thank goodness for the directional signs as it would be easy to get mixed up with all the crossing over of cart paths
-would definitely play this course again

Like all 3 nines
Not an overly hard course but, has the ability to rise up and bite you if you are careless. Conservative play is rewarded. The difficulty of incorporating a newer 9 with the original 18 created a rather busy junction in which greens and tees of a few holes are located too close to one another. Management should take a more proactive role in governing pace of play. Snack bar staff care so little for customers that they come across as rude.

Great greens
Found the greens to be very receptive , when not hitting greens in regulation I could trust the short shots to react nicely to chip and stick close the the hole to save par on a number of time.
Loved the speed of the greens , rolled quite true .

27 holes - speeds play
Nice course, surrounded by apple orchards. Play the red and blue nines (green nine not so good).
Good value for the money.

Great deal for Ontario
An excellent course for the average golfer and good value for Southern Ontario. 27 hole course with a good variety of holes- bunkers, traps and hazards without being too challenging. Good pro shop and clubhouse facilities. All staff are quite friendly and helpful.
