This is one of the best public courses in Southwestern Ontario,
Otter Creek is a challenging course especially in the summer with the rough, trees, creeks and sandtraps.

Great course...great deal
One of the best in Ontario. Just when you think you're having a good round you reach #7, 8 , 9. If you don't place your shot perfect you'll be in trouble the rest of the hole. For being late fall, the course was in great shape with very few leaves at all on the greens.

cold and rainy
Definitely designed for the longer hitters. Need to play smart as opposed to being over aggressive. Be pre
pared to lose balls if you can't hit straight. I would definitely play it again.

Worth the drive to Otterville!
Probably has one of the toughest par 4s I have ever played (the 9th) getting there is one thing over a massive valley, but then the challnge begins on the green, especially if it is a front pin location - be careful!!

Real value here ... played beautifully in just under 4 hours.
Well worth the drive ... came from over an hour away and would galdly play again. Fantastic conditions. Deceptively challenging ... especially the back 9. Don't miss it!

Amazing golf couse
It's everything they say it is. Firm fairways, even firmer greens (a few more years maturing needed to hold better). The layout is fantastic. The par 3's are beautiful and challenging. The par 4's require thought and the par 5's require acurate approach shots. It is worth the drive to play this course.

VERY CHALLENGING. GREAT LAYOUT.
If you can hit it long there isn't many tougher courses from the back tees. This course has every conceivable obstecle that makes you want to play it over again. Fairways are good but greens are quick and firm. Most shots don't hold without a good bounce but are definately a true test of your ability. The club house and proshop are amazing looking buildings.
Over all I think everybody that plays there wants another crack at it again to see if you can do better and play a few shots and holes differently.

Couple of quirks
This is a beautiful course that runs very naturally through the varied terrain. There are a couple of quirks with the course. The first is one of the par 3's runs downhill and there is a green for another hole right behind this one. Very tricky on the eye. On this same hole, you have to drive your cart down to the green and then back up the same route to the next tee. It causes unneccessary waiting on the tee.
The second quirk is on the ninth hole. For first timers, it is surprising to find your great drive is in a ravine, about 200 yards from the tee. The ravine is about 150 yards wide, but cannot be seen from the tee.
Otherwise, the course is very visually appealing and I would go back more often if it was not so far out of the way and the staff was a little more welcoming.

good value but far from civilization
very challenging course and great value for money. I would suspect this track could charge double or more if closer to a steadier stream of golfers.
125km from Oakville but still worth the drive.

Bit out of the way but nice course, great value for the money!
Course is a bit remote to get to, however is well worth the trip - course is in good shape in spite of drought like conditions this past summer - friendly staff, nice driving range & practice green - difficulty of the course is determined by the tees selected so choose wisely - plan on returning again this fall
