The Rock Golf Club

1185 Juddhaven Road Minett, ON P0B 1G0 URL:   Course Website
THE ROCK is artfully sculpted on the shores of Lake Rosseau, one of Muskoka’s premier lakes. Designed by Nick Faldo, utilizing the site’s dynamic topography, the 6,649-yard course is carved tight with narrow tree-lined fairways and sloping greens that wind through rock outcroppings, hardwood trees and rolling hills.

In addition to its dramatic links, The Rock Golf Club offers high-end daily fee amenities and services, found only in the top clubs of North America. Book a lesson with the golf professional, browse through the golf shop or enjoy a steak-house dinner in the lounge of the authentic Muskoka-style clubhouse or a cocktail on the terrace overlooking the 1st and 18th holes.

Outstanding course Fabulous course, awesome shape, beautiful proshop attendant, sunshiney day, all in all outstanding August 9, 2014
Rock Tough course for a weekend hacker. One looses a lot of balls :-( Course in great shape, esp the greens. Staff not friendly or enthusiastic as many other courses. They need to use please and thank you's. August 5, 2014
The Rock will knock you out The Rock was one of my first Muskoka golf experiences during a tour of courses in 2012. I'd never seen so much rock or such rugged wilderness. Every fairway felt tighter than Scrooge McDuck's purse strings. It was quite intimidating and yet it was mostly enjoyable. Obviously, it has been softened over the years, and probably needs to be a bit more. The more you play, the more you'll probably enjoy it. Once you learn the spots to avoid, lost balls will become less of a problem. July 21, 2014
spectacular course I am a bogey golfer and found the course very challenging. Every hole was different and scenic. I lost several golf balls in the water and fescue. It was well worth the money paid and I would love to try it again. If you get a chance you should play. July 15, 2014
Unique Expereince Course beauty is worth the play alone, every hole is different and challenging, nothing easy here. Greens are a little slow but I understand why, this course would be next to impossible for the average player if the greens were fast. Hard to compare this course to any other, fun to play. pretty views epic Muskoka golf course Fairways are tight. Greens are small. Tee it forward. Don't be fooled by the yardage or the rating. June 19, 2014
A Course of many features The Rock is a beautiful course with some challenging par 5's that force you to lay up. As it was a beautiful and hot Saturday afternoon the round lasted 5 hours with every tee time of the day being full.....nothing to really complain about that though, being out there sure beats a lot of other things you have to do for 5 hours or more. Anyone who is looking to challenge their game or just get out see an amazing course lay out and awesome views should give the Rock a try! June 8, 2014
