Highland Gate Golf Club

Carved from dense pine and cedar trees, 18-hole Highland Gate Golf Club will be a beautiful and challenging test of golf.

Highland Gate's original layout was designed in 1930 by Stanley Thompson, one of Canada's greatest golf architects. Highland Gate's tree-lined fairways and waterways place a premium on accuracy and the greens are heavily bunkered as per Thompson's style.

The new clubhouse includes seating capacity for approximately 60 Members inside the bistro and a patio overlooking the 18th hole which will accommodate approximately 40 Members.

A renovated halfway house facility with washrooms and patio has also been added at the 10th tee.

Best green so far this fall This course is located in a residential area. Houses are very close. As a result, some fairways are tight. However, the green condition is excellent and fast for this time of the year. November 11, 2012
Challenging course with very tight fairways. Homes are too close to the golf course. This is the second time I played here this year. I was disappointed that there wasn't a starter at the first hole to control the people going off the first tee. We were forced to assert ourselves otherwise we would still be waiting to tee off. It still ended up being a good day but it was a very slow start to our round. November 2, 2012
