The Beckett Ridge championship golf course was laid out in 1975 by famed architect Jack Kidwell, who designed and renovated more than 100 courses in Ohio as well creating courses in Florida, Indiana and Kentucky.

The Course has always been top-ranked in Southwest Ohio, known for its well-groomed fairways and greens. But it's also popular because it has five par-5s and five par-3s.

In designing the 6,857-yard course, Kidwell made excellent use of the rolling terrain with some of the finest views that you can see for miles around. You'll find meandering streams and mature trees that provide deep green shade in summer and blazing reds and golds in the fall. Four sets of tees are available to challenge all levels of golfers and strategy will play an important role in your round.

Nice experience Nice layout. Challenging greens. Tight first nine while the back nine opens up. Several blind shots. Tees and cart paths need some work. Everyone in the foursome says they would play the course again September 19, 2014
Course was in good condition, be careful on cart paths Course was in good condition, a few greens were a bit marked up but otherwise tee to green it was nice. Sand traps were very well maintained! Now, the cart paths are a different matter. If I were them I'd be starting to worry about liability issues and potential cart damage, they're in that bad a shape in a lot of places. Giant potholes all over the place, portions are completely disintegrated into loose gravel. If you're not paying attention you can get to bouncing really bad, real quick and either tear up a cart or lose control and (in a few spots) end up down a hill. September 18, 2014
Okay for the money Driving range is closed! We were offered to hit their three balls in to a net in a room. Tee boxes are still mostly dirt, it has been like this as long as I can remember. Look where you're going and go slow there is as much cart path missing as available.... The greens are VERY soft, so porous you can hardly fix your ball mark. Seems like mostly sand under? So... there are many bad looking spots but they're smooth enough. September 17, 2014
Great course, poor facilities and staff. Pace of play was terrible. No starters. No rangers on course. Staff unfriendly and not very accommodating. I would not recommend this course if you want to play a steady, evenly paced round. They stack their tee times and pace is extremely slow. September 9, 2014
Pretty Nice The fairways and Greens are in very good condition. The course has some challenging holes, which I like. this course has some hilly sections so that makes it interesting. The roughs are playable so there is some forgiveness on errant shots. I played on a Thursday in the early afternoon on a hot day so the course was not crowded and our twosome got around in less than 4 hours. All-in-all, a good day. The only minor negative I noticed was that some of the cart paths need updating. September 5, 2014
Challenging Fun The course was in good shape and offered plenty of challenges. The par 3s are tricky except for hole 4. Elevation changes throughout add to the challenges and keep things interesting. A few blind drives make the first time out a little tricky but not too bad. I play courses all over the area and this has as much to offer as any of them. We played in 4 hours, interaction with staff was enjoyable and I will be back for sure September 4, 2014
Over 5 hours to play golf Decent public track, played first 5 holes in just over an hour. Then we caught a course authorized five some, and had 3 groups stacked up on number 7. Waited over half hour to tee off, and then it took over 4 hours to play the last 13 holes. Called in nicely and nothing was done to speed up play. Lip service. First time there, and last time. Too slow. September 2, 2014
Value For 25$ your not going to do better. Yes could the course he manicured better. But a good design and awesome value. September 2, 2014
