White Pines Golf Course 4 5 2 2
First time played here, would definitely go back to this hidden gem! I tried this course on a Sunday morning in the fall as a single. I purchased a tee time for $20 w/cart. I arrived and they told me to next time call ahead and don't purchase thru GolfNow as they were not hooked up with them at the time. Not sure what that meant but they honored the price and time. The problem was that they were booked solid with some large groups. So they had me go off #10 with another single that was making the turn. He was walking but was able to keep up fairly well and we made good time considering no one was in front of us. The problem was when I made the turn to #1 and there was quite a wait and play was extremely slow. But I expected that to happen by teeing off the backside first. The round was close to 5 hours long. Now about the course. I can see why it gets a lot of play. It was in fantastic condition for October. The great thing about it is there are nothing but pine trees hence no leaves. A nice mix of challenging holes plus some holes to score on. Tees and fairways were in great shape and the greens rolled nice.Staff was very nice. Give this course a try, you will not be disappointed. January 26, 2013
Course was in very good shape....just difficult for my ability. Shot a 102. I could have played the course for $15.00 each at the door. Your $3.95 charge was an additional expense. October 9, 2012
