Brown’s Run Country Club, Middletown, Ohio, first opened in 1956, when the concept of a country setting was one of a close proximity to nature—and not to backyards. The golf course was designed by William Gordon, one of the founders of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. The classic tree-lined fairways place a priority on accuracy and shot placement. Brown’s Run is a private, Member-owned club. Member families have enjoyed this secluded retreat for generations, and Brown’s Run continues to add new Members because of the superior facilities, gracious service, and exceptional value. Located just a short drive from many southwest Ohio communities, Brown’s Run draws Members from Butler, Warren, Montgomery, Hamilton, and Preble Counties.

You have an opportunity to be a “Member for the Day” through this special Membership Promotion.

Private club with decent layout This private club has nice conditioning and layout. However, I have played better public courses locally. Heatherwoode or Shaker Run are in better condition. The greens were aerated and looked like peg board. Maintenance could have sanded and rolled them much better. Members were very nice and club employees were welcoming. The course is well worth playing but rates are a little high for the quality. January 7, 2013
Awesome experience We were treated as though we were members. Would love to see more tee times made available. December 3, 2012
This course is straight forward There is very few blind shots. Greens hold well and are average speed. Fairways were soft with not much roll. Rough was thick, but not impossible to play out of. Ground around greens were on the hard side. If you missed the green it would add about 8-15 yards due to it bouncing. Pace of play was very fast as a single. 2 groups allowed me to play through. Would have considered a membership, but it is a 45 minute drive one way. October 5, 2012
