The 18-hole daily fee golf course, designed by von Hagge, Smelek and Baril, is a championship course built to USGA specifications. The course layout is ideal for the avid or aspiring golfer. The course features five (5) holes carved in the woods, while the other thirteen (13) are out in the open. Ten lakes and a stream play both a tactical and aesthetic role in the design. Grey Hawk is a public-access facility with golf packages available, such as couple golf privileges, weekday golf privileges, senior privileges and junior golf privileges.

Nice layout, not in great shape This was my first visit to Grey Hawk. I travel all over NE Ohio playing great golf courses every week. I enjoyed the challenging layout of the course. It has a southern feel to it. But many areas were burned out, despite the rain we have had this year. The bunkers hardly had sand, which made them extremely difficult to play out of-there are numerous traps on the course. Lastly, the back nine pace of play was really slow. We were waiting on every hole on the second nine. The clubhouse facilities were very nice, they have a nice patio & bar area. The staff was friendly & helpful. Given the current course conditions, I probably won't return this season, but may come back in the future when I've heard things have improved. August 10, 2014
Challenging layout My friend and went to the pro shop and confirmed our tee time that I made through Golf Now, no problems there. We went and practiced our putting until our scheduled tee time at 11:30 am. There was a twosome a full hole ahead of us and we sailed along the first nine. After grabbing a $3.50 hot dog and a $2.50 Pepsi we came to the tenth tee and noticed that the twosome ahead of us played through a threesome of elderly women that evidently we're let out ahead of us at the turn. The next nine holes were painfull having to wait up to 10 minutes to hit our next shot. The course should have a ranger out on the course to make sure that play is kept on pace as it took three hours to play the back nine. I gave it four stars because of the difficulty and beautiful layout of the course. The ruff was burned up pretty bad and some of the traps were hard as a rock in some spots. I would go back because of the challenge of the course, however I will tell them about my previous experience. By the the way I had a beer in the beautiful clubhouse after my round and that cost $2.50, same as the Pepsi? August 8, 2014
nothing great played on a Wednesday. guy at desk said no ranger scheduled.we could go out whenever.everyone started to bunch up after making the turn.fairways below average.no sand or very little in bunkers, like hitting off contrete.didn't see anyone working on course. has gone way downhill since I played it for first time 3 years ago.really not worth playing at their regular prices, but ok at the 25bucks price I got off golf now.used to be a pleasure to play, not anymore. Some of the most scenic holes I've seen! The only thing missing was casual snacks towards the end of the day. Definitely not a deal breaker. Truly loved the course. Challenging but fair! August 3, 2014
Too many divots........ Players need to repair divots on greens and in fairways. So many in both places it was annoying. Otherwise, course was in good shape ! July 30, 2014
Long road to mediocrity Having been away for 3 years, I thought this course may bring a new perspective to this "Linksy" track. And it did. The course is nestled in a development, void of any truly beautiful scenery. No color! No beautiful vistas. The greens were a bit inconsistent. There were more than a few holes that were goofy. The #7 par 5(#1 handicap) doesn't leave you ANY room to error on your second shot. Not the way it's supposed to be done fellas. All tolled, a long drive with no beauty at the end. July 27, 2014
Dried out fairways or hard pan Not much fun here. Hard ground and super short grass made the day a tough task to pick the right clubs. July 25, 2014
Out of Money??? I was looking forward to playing Grey Hawk. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. The layout is very nice but the upkeep of the course is not so good. Bunkers are atrocious, some are being filled in??? Fairways are spotty. Looks like only tees and greens are being watered. Based on the condition of the course, it looks like management does not have the funds to properly maintain the course. I feel sorry for the residents and the designer; their vision for the community and course is not being properly cared for. July 23, 2014
