Tanglewood The course was absolutely fantastic. The was some construction off the tee at the 1st but shouldn't be in play (as long as you dont have a major hook). The weather was terrible the day we went (on and off rain all day) but the course (especially the greens) stayed in surprisingly good shape. We played here on a hot deal and would gladly pay again at regular rates A+ for the staff, facilities, and course May 22, 2014
good value Tanglewood has come a long way from just a few years ago. The greens are very true and often fast. Overall conditions have improved: nice fairways throughout, very little remaining ground under repair and now there is sand in the bunkers ! If you have not played this in the past 3 - 5 years, you should notice a major improvement in quality. November 27, 2013
Getting there... If you've been a witness to the ownership changes over the last several years, you're well aware that this place has had some rough seasons in terms of condition and playability. This year, however, the course was in much better condition and seemed to get better throughout the year. The new owners are really putting an effort in to bringing this place back, and I'm happy to see it finally happening. Some things that may remind you that a recovery is still underway: poor sand trap quality, un-even tee boxes, random drainage issues (MUCH better than last year), hit-or-miss cart quality, and no ranger to speed up slow groups. I think 2014 will be a new era for this course. November 16, 2013
Great course - great value The tee boxes were a little bit beat up but not too badly. I would play this course again. November 1, 2013
Fun Course Make sure to get out and check out Tanglewood. This is a fun, well maintained course. Some areas were being repaired while I played, but nothing that would hinder your enjoyment. Nothing gimmicky here, just a straight forward test. A couple holes will take the driver out of your hands, but a good approach will make scoring possible on these holes. A good value for the price, and a nice track. October 17, 2013
So good My wife loved this course. Not only enojy the game, but also being relaxed with beatiful scenery October 13, 2013
One of the best values in Geauga County. Layout is outstanding, conditions for the most part are excellent, a few holes had some rough spots. Management needs to maintain pace of play. Overall a real winner. October 9, 2013
Great deal for 18 Course used to be private, still has the country club feel in some ways. The club house is dilapidated at best. The course had some wet areas in rough and fairways, but it's fall. The greens were amazing. BIG, FAST, lot of break. Great elevation changes. First time playing there, no markings on course, get a yardage book if they have one for blind shots. Most of the other players seemed like the "country club" type (both good and bad). Some holes have spectacular views and were a lot of fun to play. Great deal on GolfNow.com, if I can find it again I would definitely play again. October 9, 2013
