Elks Run Golf Club, rated top 10 in Ohio by Golfweek in 2010, is a 4-Star rated facility by Golf Digest. Enjoy friendly service at our pub as well as great views of the course on our outdoor dining patio. Elks Run is known as the best public golf facility in Cincinnati.

Situated on 163 acres of lush, rolling hills in Batavia, Ohio, Elks Run Golf Course is a 6,833 yard championship course that is both challenging and enjoyable to play.

Utilizing bentgrass greens, tees and fairways, this Greg Norman design takes advantage of the rolling hills and creeks to provide a course that works within its natural characteristics. This only maximizes its beauty and difficulty.

Though Elks Run is a test of strategy and skill, it is also fair and honest. Norman, who thinks of each course he designs as a fingerprint of life, strives to design a course where "somebody walks off and enjoys shooting 130 and somebody walks off and enjoys shooting a 63 or a 64. Then you know you've done a good job."

Rated 3 out of 5 by What a bargain By comparison to Shaker Run the next day this was like playing Augusta September 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of Cincinnati's Best! This is a challenging course with some beautiful scenery! I'm fairly new to the area and had only played here once before. The only complaint I have isn't their fault - when players are fixing their ball marks on the greens, they are doing so improperly and digging up the center of the mark, which has made several greens a little rough. Aside from that, the rough is challenging, there's lots of fescue And the greens are lightning quick. If you keep it straight you can score here - good shots are usually rewarded. Great deals on golfnow make this one of the premier valued courses in greater Cincinnati! September 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great course bunkers were the best around nice white sand Great layout play a lot of courses this is by far one of the best September 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun for All Finally got to play here with my dad. The course was in great shape. The only reason I marked down were for some ballmarks. Elks Run has a challenging layout for all tees/skillsets. My dad had all he wanted from the men's tees and I was able to play the tips to offset our differences in distance. The fairways were green and lush an the greens were receptive of approach shots. We cannot wait to go out again the next time he is in town. August 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Done w 18 in 7 Holes staff and course were terrific but the pace of play was beyond acceptable. we had two threesomes in front of us and they had no where to go. at the end of 7 we were one hole behind the time card we were given. at the end of 8 holes we were two holes behind. there was no explanation or ranger to help. my son was leaving for college the next day and asked that we try and try to finish. we tried ten and then quite. you had too many people on the course and the 7 minute gap only works if you have low hanicappers. Rated 3 out of 5 by Slowest course in City Its very unfortunate that Elks jams so many groups onto this course. It's a great course but, it's hard with lots of trouble. So this is the problem. Due to difficulty they need to space the tee times better. It seems they should try to please the majority rather than jam so many players on the course and disappoint everyone just to make a little more money. Until I hear they fix this I will not go back! Very unfortunate cause it's a great track. August 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Slow play Everything about Elk's Run was great, except pace of play. Our round was over 4'50", and we started at 424pm, so darkness prevailed on us. We never saw any club official or representative out checking people trying to speed up play. I think some effort should have been exerted to ensure rounds are not this long and this slow. There were Players behind us whom did not finish. Other than pace of play, this is a great venue. August 16, 2015
