The course at Nags Head Golf Links was designed to delight players of all abilities. In addition to offering remarkable views, its idyllic setting along the banks of the historic Roanoke Sound provides a temperate climate, which yields outstanding course conditions year-round.

When many people refer to the Outer Banks, they use the term “Nags Head” to generically describe the area. The truth of the matter is that Nags Head was first a physical location on a map, then a township and, finally, the most recognizable of all the northern Outer Banks vacation destinations.

Featured in Golf Digest, Southern Links and GolfWeek, Nags Head Golf Links is a perennial favorite and an authentic glimpse at golf the way it was meant to be.

Vacationers and locals alike love Nags Head Golf Links for more than just our award-winning course. Our fabulous Links Grille serves up some of the tastiest lunch specials and best sunset views on the Outer Banks. And it’s no secret that our full-service bar is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day on the course.

We also boast the best golf shop on the beach, with a friendly staff ready to help you choose from our great selection of name brand equipment and apparel.

Consider Nags Head Golf Links your game improvement resource as well. Our experienced PGA professionals offer instructional clinics all summer long and affordable private lessons year-round. Our picturesque location also includes a convenient practice green and Cayman driving range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nags Head - Short but still challenging I've played Nags Head about a dozen times over the years and have found the course condition to be very consistent - very good to superior. Many of the holes have creeks or other hazard that prevents you from pulling the driver out of your bag. Therefore, the posted length of the hole is deceiving. I have found the wind is the course's most troubliing defense against posting lower scores. The greens run true, but be sure to view every putt from both sides of the hole or be prepared to be fooled. August 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Golf Along the Sound If you like seaside golf then you will love some of the golf holes out here. Beautiful scenic holes along the sound. Course unfortunately is extremely short only 6100 yards from the tips. Course will be as tough as the wind is blowing. Several holes the wind was two club difference. There are a lot of holes where you need to pay attention to the 150 yard markers because past that there is trouble you can't see off the tee. Definitely recommended this as a course to play when on the OBX. August 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than fishing. I recently moved to Frisco, NC. As there are no courses around and being a novice at fishing not to mention the money buying all the equipment, I needed to play golf. The nearest course is Nags Head links and what a joy. Course is fair, challenging and aesthetically beautiful. Staff was great, as was the food. I love this course and plan to come back, again and again. Thank you and go Seahawks! Hat. August 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Outer Banks Golf Very nice track...a bit tight and if the wind is blowing can make you crazy. However, it is a must play when visiting the Outer Banks! August 22, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed Read some reviews on this course and thought I would give it a try. Disappointed in the practice range. Didn't expect to be hitting plastic golf balls that all had dents in them. Had to walk a lot due to cart path only on several holes. Course layout was good. Scenery was excellent. Needs better outline of each hole at tee boxes. Overall 5/10. Won't be back anytime soon to this course. August 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great course My family has been coming to this course since I was a kid. You can't beat it when wanting to play on the Outer Banks. August 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by A nice place to play The staff is excellent all around. The course can play easy or hard depending on how hard the wind is blowing. Great views of the sound. The greens were very soft which is good for accepting shots, but makes them bumpy for putting sometimes. Hit to the wide spots on the fairways since missed fairways can be lost balls many times. Rated 4 out of 5 by The Big Con Lots of fun, some easy par 3's to very challenging par 4's and 5's. Great views. August 14, 2015
