Great bargain For the money it's one of the best courses in the area. Greens were in great shape as always. And the fairways that weren't being aerated were good. Bunkers could of had some more sand in them. But had a great day and will return April 30, 2015
Fairways were in bad shape I was shocked when most of the fairways looked dead or burned up. I played this course many times in 2014 and it was always in pristine condition. Not worth $65 in this condition we should have asked for a refund after the round. April 19, 2015
Nice course Challenging course with sand traps on most fairways, might need long irons on most holes for second shots. Around the greens best option is to putt due to wet spots....hard to chip onto fast greens with challenging pin placement. March 13, 2015
Player friendly Golf course is well framed with large landing areas for the tee shot. Greens were excellent as they convert from bent to Bermuda. A Tremendous improvement over last time I played the course. The whole foursome enjoyed the golf course. March 11, 2015
Rocky River After a bout with snow and the a few days of rain the course stir drained had a few soggy spots but that's to be expected with 3 days of rain the days before. Greens were perfect. March 9, 2015
Two Different Nines I played this course for the first time on a chilly day and the course was very wet and cart path only. The front nine was fairly open but included a lot of sand traps. The back nine was hillier with creeks and streams. The greens were undulated but ran true and they were in excellent condition. My Son and I play competitively and tied for the round. Truly fitting scores as wet conditions caused us both fat shot problems. This course is one of the better ones in the Charlotte surrounding area. I will play here again on an anticipated dry weather day. February 24, 2015
Greens Tarped; Holes in the Fairway 55F on a saturday, but I guess customer service comes in second to running the golf course. Placed tarps on the greens and was too lazy to remove them for play so they placed pins and cut holes into the fairway and found this acceptable. I understand the need to tarp the greens when the weather gets cold, so either decided to shutdown the course or to remove the tarps when the tempertures allow, such as 50+F on a saturday afternoon. Don't book a tee time until confirming the course is ready for play with the greens accesible, not some 2-bit half assesed placing the tees in the fairway. Really brings into a lot of other questions on how a great course is managed, customer service is poor! February 14, 2015
Excellent greens! Course was a little damp, so we were cart path only. For this time of year, the fairways and tees were good, but the greens were magnificent. I would guess they were rolling at about an 11 on stimp meter. Temperature was in the low 40's, so it was nice to play in 3hours and 10 minutes! Price on golf now was unbelievable. Highly recommend this course. Funny note, a wild turkey came up on the 13th green and proceeded to follow us the final five holes. January 15, 2015
