Casperkill's golf course, built in 1944, was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones. Play here amidst tranquil ponds, magnificent ancient oaks and the meandering Casperkill itself. The course graciously makes use of the rolling hills with elevated tees, manicured valley fairways and well-bunkered, terraced greens that make each round a new challenge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shape Course has come a long way from what it looked like from the start of the season. It was in great shape in my opinion. Greens were a little slow, but very healthy and beautiful. I just wished attitudes of some of the employees their were better. September 18, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pro-shop staff openly hostile to Golfnow users I've made the trip to Casperkill twice after finding deals on Golfnow. The first time I got there 5-10 minutes before my tee time and Jennifer in the pro-shop told me my group was already out on the course. I smiled and said oh, they got out a little early eh? She replied, "that's why we tell you to be 20minutes early!" I went out and found another golfer on the practice green with my tee time and we paired up. The place was not busy. The next time I walked into the pro-shop and Jennifer came out of the back room and I smiled and said I have an 11:40 and she told me to wait here because she liked to "deal with all you Golfnow users together." When I came back she pointed out to the carts and said I'd be riding with "that guy over there". I asked for my own cart and she said no. I said golfnow said I get a cart. She said "you don't get your own cart". I said it didn't say that and she practically yelled, "you are paying almost nothing!". I asked why she posts sites on golfnow if she doesn't want us there and asked for her name. She told me to "go ahead, write golfnow about it!". So I did. Beware golfnow users. Jennifer treats Golfnow users like 2nd rate citizens. September 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ranger danger First time playing the course with some friends. The course was in good condition nice tee boxes and fairways the greens were in good shape challenging but fair. The only thing that needs improvement is the signage and the friendliness of the Rangers pretty grouchy but I guess everyone is entitled to have a bad day every now and then. I would recommend the course to others it was a nice day out. August 3, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Employees mad at golf now Casperkill is a great course to play. The only think I didn't like was when I went to check in for my tee time the man at the counter was annoyed that I booked the time on golf now. I paid 10$ for a round that usually costs 50$. He then went on to tell me how they are losing money by letting people book tee times on golf now. I didn't really see how this was my problem, but my experience would have been better if I didn't have to hear the guy b itch about scoring a great deal. Thanks golf now! July 31, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Pleasant Surprise For a public course that sees considerable use the fairways and greens were in fine condition, rivaling several local members only courses. Lots of contours and challenges, and a very beautiful layout. July 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely course and kept in good condition Only issue was that the greens had damage due to the bad winter and several are still not entirely back. Otherwise very enjoyable and some nice golf holes. July 3, 2015
