Douglaston Golf Course is located in Douglaston, Queens. Formally known as North Hills Country Club, it became a municipal course in the early 60's. Douglaston is situated at the highest point in the Borough of Queens, providing picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline.

The beautiful old clubhouse was completely redesigned in 2004 and includes a lavish catering facility. Also in 2004 the golf course underwent a major renovation by the acclaimed architect Stephen Kay. These clubhouse and course improvements have moved Douglaston up into the position of number 2 in popularity amongst all the NYC golf courses.

Overall good day, nice round. Nice Saturday morning round for a Fall day in the 50s, pace was reasonable, given the time of year and tempurature helped. Leaves on the course made it difficult to see the ball at times, even when center fairway, fotrunately we had 4 guys who could help each other out a bit. Good place for a city course, configuration and order of a few holes just dont make sense, but understandable given they are tight on space and make do with the land. October 27, 2013
Looking for outdoor enjoyment? Play at Douglaston! Great view, fairways great and the greens awesome! October 23, 2013
Great NYC muni course Douglaston has old time charm. The course is hilly and short with many blind shots. You can still have fun with your driver even though it is a par 67. The greens were in great condition when I played. Queens golf at its best. October 18, 2013
Nice course, but be patient.. It's a great place to go if you have the time. There's always groups of 4 waiting at the next tee when you're there. The greens are great, and the course is maintained well. The staff are all friendly and knowledgable, and will always offer advice on a couple of holes. But be ready to wait at a couple of holes. short course but in good shape this course has been fairly maintained lately. the greens are nice and forgiving but the shape of some of the tee boxes are horrible. The main problem with this course is the pace of play. They overbook tee times ,so having three or four foursomes in front of you at your tee time iis not uncommon. The rangers never push anybody along or suggest picking up after 8 shots on a fairway. also the amenities leave a lot to be desired.Cart service is sporadic at best and food inside is bleh. it is a deceny muni course but it can be much better September 21, 2013
alot of blind shots I had played this course before but the friend I brought with me had never, I must say the course was in good shape and the price was right for when we played 12"02.Not a very difficult place to play but like every golf course you need to make your shots or it cost you. Nice golf course Douglaston Golf Course is the best public golf course you can play in Queens, NY. Yes, it can be better (water hazards are not maintained, water is muddy and unpleasant), but it is good value for the money. It is always busy, but I enjoy playing there. September 17, 2013
The course is actually in good shape considering the amount of play it gets. It's a fun course especially when it doesn't take 4 1/2 to 5 hours. The course is fun, not too demanding and pretty good for all skill levels. The staff..., well, they could be nicer. Seems like they couldn't possibly care less that you're there. I would recommend this course to a friend and I will definitely be playing it again very soon. August 21, 2013
