Douglaston Golf Course is located in Douglaston, Queens. Formally known as North Hills Country Club, it became a municipal course in the early 60's. Douglaston is situated at the highest point in the Borough of Queens, providing picturesque views of the Manhattan skyline.

The beautiful old clubhouse was completely redesigned in 2004 and includes a lavish catering facility. Also in 2004 the golf course underwent a major renovation by the acclaimed architect Stephen Kay. These clubhouse and course improvements have moved Douglaston up into the position of number 2 in popularity amongst all the NYC golf courses.

Play this golf course and enjoy the experience of a country club at a fraction of the cost.

Douglaston Park Golf Course 3.9 5 54 54
Sweet course This is a sweet little gem tucked into the far eastern reaches of Queens, high on a hill with great views, rolling fairways, undulating greens and surprisingly great conditions. Staff was very friendly and I'd highly recommend the course. Only downsides are that it's got too many par 3s (7), not enough par 5s (2), and bunkering of greens are generally too easy. But you can walk out of here with a low score and a good experience. October 20, 2014
Unexpexted find in New York Moderately challenging, with straightfoward water holes and hilly terrain. October 18, 2014
Greens are impressive Short course but very enjoyable, fairways are tight, great were great shape October 4, 2014
Play there late in the day I try to get in 9 holes and usually can get more. I play after the price drop which is 4 pm and becomes 3 pm on September 15th. Usually if I get there a couple hours before dusk I can get my 9 holes in. The course is in decent shape except for a couple holes where the Canadian Geese make a mess. Beautiful views of the City. This was once North Hills Country Club. This place can get crowded and is more typical of public golf in the New York Metro area. I hear that golf is in trouble because people are not playing. You never would know that around here. September 17, 2014
6 hr round Saw there were a bunch of open times on Golf Now. Didn't bother booking one because I was unsure exactly what time we'd make it there. Got to the Pro Shop and was told there was at least an hour and a half wait. Went back on Golf Now and booked a tee time 10 minutes from then. Finally got out about 45 minutes later. EXTREMELY slow play. Waiting every hole, every shot. It got too late for us and we had leave after 13.....Passed 16 and there was a FIVE-some with a hole open in front of them. Very poorly managed course. Horrible systems going between the pro shop and starter. Its a shame because the course, though short is a bit tricky and challenging. Wish we had gotten to play all of it. Maybe I'll go back next year and try again....but probably not. September 13, 2014
Doug GC Loves it.. Very we'll kept.. A great public NYC course September 5, 2014
Slow pace The slowest round I played all season, multiple par 3's back to back to back make it even slower. Course was in very good shape. September 4, 2014
Pace of play too slow We had to wait on every hole for the group in front to tee off. Then the group behind us had to wait for us. The back nine hole has blind tee shots and the group behind hit up on us several times, This pesents a danger of injury. Starters need to increase time spacing between groups. Rangers need to monitor and speed up slower groups to keep up with group in front. August 31, 2014
