Dyker Beach Golf Course
Another good value at a NYC muni
It was tough to get a true feel for the course as I played in constant rain but from what I saw it looks like this could be a fun course in better conditions. Not overly challenging in any one way and allows you to play a variety of shots into the greens.
The one disappointing thing was when I Initially arrived at 8am the Pro Shop was not open yet and then they said they were closed due to the rain. The other thing that bothered me was they didn't have any coffee available for purchase. It was a cold, wet day and grabbing a coffee at the turn would've been nice.

Overall experience was great... Slow fore some ahead that looked like first time golfers. Slowed up play for 3 groups. In desperate need of ranger to speed up play.

Not what I expected
During this golf season I tried to get out at least once a week which, as you may know, can get a little pricey. Because of this Dyker was always put on the back burner for cheaper places like marine park or the Staten Island courses. So when I saw the late season deal at dyker I jumped on it. I was a little disappointed with how crowded it was and how long the round took in general, but the course itself was nice and well kept, as wel as not too difficult. Not sure when I'll play here again I do prefer the other courses but overall it was fine.

A golf course plays in Brooklyn. Great course. It's in great shape this year. Fairways are firm and the greens are running smooth (most of them, anyway). Just bring some patience. It's crowded and plays slowly.

The course & greens are in very good condition. The greens are challenging for putts. I played the back nine and walked in 2hours 15 mins . I def would play again

Went with 3 others we all loved it you didn't feel like you were in the city. I would so it again anytime

Fairways and ruff are joke.
Short course, fairways and ruff are not maintained and appears heavily relied upon rain. If I had a choice I would not play here again but I know in NYC you don't have much of a choice so people appear to tolerate this type of condition and pay money up words of $60.

Nice course, but gets backed up
Took about 5 hours to finish the round, but I did like the ease of access from Manhattan ($35 by cab).
