For the third straight time I played this course there no water to be found anywhere on it--which is against the law. Each time I was given an excuse. With the course filled with seniors on a fairly hot day, problems can arise....There also wasn't a single ball-wager on the course. Not one place to clean a dirty golf ball. When asked an executive said, "We're getting ready for the off-season (Nov.1)," as if no one plays in 50-degree November weather either....Oh, and bring your own lunch because their snack bar was closed.

The course is a great course for beginners. The greens are a challenge without any water hazards. I love learning to play golf on this course. Nobody is rushing and everyone is patient. I suggest you come and give it a shot. The driving range is adequate.

Second time playing this course. I am a beginner, and I find the course to be a little challenging but nothing to crazy. The staff is sooooo nice!! I certainly be coming back!

Probably the easiest course out of the NYC parks. Definitely a walkable course as it is pretty condensed. The fairways are narrow, but it is fairly easy to recover from the rough and there aren't a lot of areas to lose your ball.
I was skeptical of doing the same 9 holes twice, but I actually liked it a lot. Will definitely be back.

Nestled in the Woodlawn section of Bronx, this 9-hole championship-caliber course features rolling hills, shoulder-high fescue, sprawling greenery and breathtaking spruce trees to compliment its majestic beauty. Rumored to be Teddy Roosevelts favorite course, you'll find many social elites spotted throughout the grounds.
Ok, seriously, it's a decent 9-hole course that's worth playing off-peak times and has a very nice practice chipping and putting area. Honestly had no idea this place existed before yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course. Worth a lap around.

For a small 9 hole course it plays very well and is in excellent condition. The staff is great and it's a hidden gem in the city.

Mosholu has really improved from last year. The grounds are well kept. The carts run well, the staff is courteous, friendly, and professional. The clubhouse offers a good selection of food and an outdoor patio. It also has good constant rates . A very good course for beginners and intermediate players or a quick practice.

This is a hidden little gem. The 9 hole layout is certainly challenging with its narrow fairways so it is great to hone in on those straight shots. The greens are the BEST in NYC!
The course is dominated by young people learning the game so it would be a surprise to find hordes of pre teens playing a round. It's great for the future of the game - particularly in the area.
Staff is very friendly and welcoming - more so than you would find at any other municipal course. This venue is the best value in all of NYC.
