The best 18 holes of golf that you have ever played are waiting for you at Harkers Hollow.

It all starts when you leave our clubhouse, which was uniquely converted in 1929 from an 1820's Barn and venture past the putting green to the Pro Shop. From here the view of the course is spectacular with its luxuriant fairways, well manicured greens and rolling hills. The Positioning of this course on the slope of a small mountain, by Architect Robert White, was challenging and ingenious.

Our course, a par 70, offers a variety of different tees for all ages and abilities. The course from the Black Championship tees plays at 6,551 yards, the Blue Membership tees play at 6,361 yards, and our forward tees Red at 5,473 yards and White at 5,608 yards. From which ever set of tees are played each hole brings a new challenge, whether it be an extreme side hill lie, a small slick green or a challenging shot over Lopatcong Creek which runs the length of the course.

DO NOT PLAY THERE!!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE COURSE Sad, gone to ruin, greens are brown and bare! Par 3 course looks better. Have removed ALL of the heritage.... Scharre Run ruined, no more benches, dedicated stones overgrown, driving range looks sad. No wonder they went into bankruptcy January 3, 2013
Great Private course turned public and great to play! Thank goodness the course turned public and gave me a chance to be an "unofficial" member of Harkers Hollow. Great, older course with excellent features that was built in 1923 and still has the charm of the good, old days! Getting back to it's original shape with tight fairways and really fast greens. A must play! December 21, 2012
Greens and tee boxes need a lot of work. The fairways were fine but the greens and tee boxes were awful. The greens had dirt patchs and weeds. Putting on them was ridiculous. On the tee boxes it was hard to find a level area to hit from. Again, a lot of dirt patches and depressions. December 5, 2012
Play in a Farmers Field Instead This was, without a doubt the worst conditioned golf course I've ever played in my life. Most greens had giant bare spots. Most fairways and all tees were just crabgrass. Even the hot deal price is wayyyyyy too much for this dump. Go play in a pasture instead. November 20, 2012
This course is one of the worst i've played. The course has a fun layout, the conditions are the worst i've seen yet. To play this course for $30 is an insult with what you get. November 13, 2012
Poor playing conditions & boring layout Tee boxes were "manicured" crabgrass. Large sections of several greens were bare. Patchy turf conditions in fairways. Poor conditions in sand bunkers. Layout was boring and uninspired. October 23, 2012
Greens are in terrible shape. Nice layout bur fairways are dotted with bare spots and greens are just terrible. October 18, 2012
Tiny greens and in disrepair Course could be ok if the doubled the size of all the greens and totally rebuilt them as the elevation changes make it an interesting layout. However the greens are totally destroyed (25% of any given green is just dirt and the rest is spotty at best) and the fairways aren't much better. When I went they also hadn't cleared out the falling leaves so you spent 5 minutes looking for your ball even if it was in the middle of the fairway as the leaves hide everything. Course needs a LOT of work. The turf range is the one big plus October 12, 2012
wonderful views especially on the back nine I remember driving by this course years ago when it was private and marveling its pristine condition. Now after bankruptcy and becoming a public course it is only a shell of its previous shape. Nothing to recommend other than its inexpensive and the views are wonderful. October 11, 2012
Greens were in bad condition and crab grass has overtaken the rough. Great potential and terrific layout! I was disapointed in the conditions of the fairway, tees and greens; it requires a great deal of repair TLC! October 7, 2012
Horrible cow pasture Poorly conditioned...poor greens,... diseased...denuding tee areas and boxes....no water on the course for drinking....sand bunkers more like a macadam base with a thin sand cover..listed Pro...Dachisen... retired...and no information on the present pro...... never again, and I mean never! October 4, 2012
Wait till next year I enjoy playing older courses. However, I am aware that HH had been experiencing difficult economic times. This year it is under new ownership. Golfers can see that efforts are being made to restore the course to it's former conditions. Yet, this may take another year. I will not return until 2013. September 26, 2012
Garbage This course is Garbage, pure and utter garbage. Feels like your hitting a ball in someone's unkempt backyard. Crabgrass, crabgrass, and more crabgrass. Two thumbs down to the staff and greens-keeper. The only redeeming quality was the food at the bar. September 25, 2012
Certainly NOT the best 18 holes of golf ever played ! We booked a time thru Golf Now based on having played this course during our very mild winter. At the time the course was being "worked on" for the upcoming golf season. Well, hopefully they close the course now and work on it for next year. Every green had (what the asst. pro told us) a fungus growing on it. Many fairways and sand traps without fungus issues also need attention. The course layout is very interesting with many challenging shots. You would probably use all the clubs in your bag at some point. It has great possibilities and I, for one, would like to see someone repair this course to make it enjoyable to play. We booked for $39 (inexpensive) and when we got to the course, they only charges us $29. Thanks ! Still cannot recommend. September 23, 2012
