Be careful of pot bunkers

Course is a good test
Bunkers need to be drained of runoff and leaves need to be
swept out, very annoying to hit into bunker and not find ball.
Greens were in great shape.

Great course
Course is in average condition for the winter alot of bunkers unplayable due to water and leaves. The greens are in good shape as well as the fairways. Good bentgrass course for the money.

Not too bad for January in New Jersey
For someone like me, 70, lost some distance, this course is challenging and in pretty good shape. I'll be back.

It's winter golf!
South Jersey has long been a haven for players seeking warmer, gentler conditions during the off-season. White Oaks, 45 minutes from South Philly fits the bill. It's a 1999 vintage course that plays among the oaks in the Pine Barrens. We were two of maybe 20 golfers out Sunday. Conditions were surprisingly good, particularly the greens. They've managed to clear away most of the leaves that could have cluttered the round. White Oaks has some interesting short par 4s. Because of the angle on the long 5, it is more difficult than the 621 yards suggests. Best hole on the course is probably #9 with the two greens with the right hand green presenting the better challenge. Staff was great, even on a slow day! Rate was an exceptional value. The bunkering is not unlike Scotland Run or Twisted Dune as they appear to have simply dug down to the sand deposits.

An excellent course
This is great course to play. Holes are challenging. Fairways and green are very well maintained. Green are fast so adds to the challenge. Staff is very friendly and make sure you have a good experience.

I know its Nov and the leaves are still falling off the trees but they had leaves everywhere , the bunkers were full of them

Plenty of risk-reward opportunities...challanges!
unfortunately, the 2 times I played the course it was in November with all the leaves on the ground. A few times it took 10 min to find a ball in play. However, it gives you plenty of opportunities to 'go for it' or 'lay up'....and I find that to be exciting! I played front 9 2x last visit and found at least 6 different shots the 2nd time around. Greens are rolling, quick and quite a challange. The pins were PGA quality...on the side of a hill...and you better be below or you certainly would be when you missed! GolfNow makes it a GREAT place to play anytime!

Good value for the money.
Greens are in execellent shape. Due to weather conditions leaves were a problem on a number of holes including greens.
Course is in good shape considering the time of year.

Black Friday on the Golf Couse
Great deal for the day after Thanksgiving, but seems the crowds from Black Friday followed to the course. Conditions were great, minus the leaves; but play was slow. Starters could have done a better job as my group teed off 10-15 minutes late as the two groups ahead of us just sat there with an open tee box for about 20 minutes - just finished 18 holes by sunset. Still, great course and round.

Pace of play was so slow it took 2 hours to play 4 holes. Group in front of us called & complained, but didn't see any action. So bad we left after 5

The was a great course.

Nice Course
Driving through the immediate area you wouldn't expect to find such a nice course. Played this course in October and for the end of the season it was in great shape. My only complaint would be the bunkers (they were mostly mud no sand). The members I spoke to had the same complaint but the sand is there and they expect to have the bunkers done for the 2013 season. I will be back to play this course.

I've played this course twice and both times I've enjoyed it. It's a hidden gem
I think this is one of the hidden gems in South Jersey. Course was in great condition and has a country club feel. Thanks to GolfNow I was able to get it for under $30 for a Sat morning for my friend and I. This was my second time playing the course and I completely enjoyed it. The staff was very professional, fairways and greens were in great shape. There are a few challenging holes like the 621 Par 5 6th and 220 Par 3 17th. Looks like a few of the tee boxes needed reseeding but overall playable. We had the first tee time out on Sat and we were able to get around in less than 3 1/2 hours.

great value, great round
in much better condition than 2011, still a nice wooded course with responsive greens
with a little more TLC this could be a real winner in S Jersey golf

Fun and challanging
Fairways and greens were in very good condition. Course was a little backed up the day we played (Sunday at noon) but only on the back 9. Love the course design, good deals on line. Nice clubhouse.

this course has a cool layout, good grass and nice greens. no real complaints except the tee boxes could be nicer.

Quiet woodsy relaxation
Dont book a round of golf on your Anniversary.
Course was in good shape, ongoing fall aeration in a couple fairways, but not too inconvenient.
