Nice Course, close to the strip
I was in town for a conference and looking for something different, not too expensive, and close to the strip. Rhodes Ranch is only a 20 - 25 minute ride off the strip and a very nice lay-out. Lots of interesting holes with challenging shots, but open enough to easily find your ball move play along. Located within a neighborhood, but houses do not encroach on course. Staff was great!

Excellent course! Fairways were in great condition.
Excellent course and fairways were in great condition. Greens were above average. Only issue were the bunkers. They had to many rocks/pebbles in them. But all in all the course has a great layout and it was in exceptional condition. To top it off we booked an excellent deal on GolfNow.com that included breakfast AND lunch, two beers and range balls for $95. Would do it all over again without question!

Very nice course, good condition
Nice Arnold Palmer design in good condition. More difficult than the slope rating would indicate (slope 116 from Championship tees). Could use some marshalling.

Great value for the money, would highly recommend.
Friendly staff, good course conditions especially after a management switch. First time playing golf in Las Vegas and for the value and short drive from the strip. Highly recommended.

Extremely slow play and horrible practice mats.
This course had way too many players allowed on it at the same time, play was horribly slow. However greens and fairways were in pristine conditions. Me and my buddy started at 3 pm and only got in 16 holes before it got dark due to the slow play and way too many players allowed on the course at a time. The staff did nothing to relieve the situation. The practice mats at the range should have been replaced years ago. They were by far the worst shape I've ever seen practice mats in. Completely worn out and cheap. They left green plastic stuck on the bottom of all my clubs. Play somewhere else unless you don't mind waiting around all day for several groups in front of you to tee off first at almost every hole.

Exciting and challenging
Slow paste, just about 5 hours for 18 holes. However the twosome we joined were very friendly.

Great value, fun course
Very playable, fun and challenging golf course. Not nearly as "targetty" as other Vegas region course, so better for various ability levels. Course is in very good shape and is a great value with Greens fees, cart, range balls, free breakfast AND lunch for Under $100! Will absolutely be back next time in LV!

Course was beautifully maintained and staff was outstanding.
Excellent views of the surrounding hills. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Forgiving course if you missed the fairway! Greens very fast.

Great course conditions
Nice practice/warmup area with large putting green. The course is in nice condition with the greens rolling very smooth and very few ball marks. Entire staff was helpful and courteous. Rental club is $50 for a fairly used set of Taylormade Rocketballz. Overall great value and would recommend.

Excellent value on Golf Now. Beautiful course, well maintained.
Course conditiones were very good. Greens played consistently. Never saw a course marshall on a Saturday with a very busy course. A marshall could have improved pace of play.

Pleasantly Surprised and Good Value
Played as a twosome in early Feb. We were the third group out in the morning and played in less than 3.5 hours even playing two balls on a few holes. Course was in good condition. I don't understand the recent reviews critical of the greens, They were excellent, although a tad slow the day we played. It was an excellent value (especially by Vegas standards) booked through golf now, included range balls, breakfast, lunch and two beers.

Rhodes Ranch
Did a Vega$ trip and the all-inclusive option at Rhodes Ranch was the best value I found. The course staff was excellent and the course itself was in great condition. It's carved through a development but the houses are far enough off the course to not feel intimidated on the tee. Greens were in great shape and true. The restaurant staff is hit or miss but the food is good. Definitely recommend.

Weekend Play
I recently played there on a weekend and my round took 5:15 and I never once saw a marshal. The tees and fairways are in good shape but the greens are a bit rough. Ball trends to bounce on greens when putting. But the slow play ruined a nice day.

rude staff, course only average
course = easy scoring, short, and boring for las vegas.
bunkers = massive rocks (needs serious maintenance)
fairways and greens = satisfactory
Some punk caddy was extremely rude to myself and guests. upon exiting the course to parking lot to unload our golf bags, we had trouble finding the parking lot being our first time playing the course here. Instead of being helpful, the caddy made comments like "do you know where you even parked?", "have you ever driven a golf cart before", .... VERY RUDE STAFF. this was the worst of 4 courses we played on our vegas vacation. much better service and value at other golfnow.com courses....

Great course for good value ... play Rhodes Ranch!
This was my 7th or 8th time playing this course. It has become my "go to" course when I come to Vegas. I love the condition, the wide fairways and the roll of the greens. This time we chose a day that was quite cold and the wind came up the last 6 holes, elevating our scores and chapping all exposed skin. I truly enjoy this course and feel it is a great value during the afternoon rates.

Course conditions good
Enjoyed the Course, weather conditions did not co-operate, due to cold conditions that week, driving range mats need to be replaced, well organized staff and polite & helpful, only objection was the beverage cart, only saw it one time and that was about 11:30 am, it was cold that day so we looked forward to seeing the cart for hot refreshment, other than that, the course is pleasing to the eye.

Good course
Played on a very cold morning - 35 degrees! Hard to really appreciate the real value of the course because greens were frozen on front 9. Speed of play was great, 3 hours. Staff was great - will definitely play again.

Great course to start your Vegas trip with
This course is very scenic, despite the housing community it is built within, and allows for plenty of bail out areas on the fairways and greens, except the par 3's, the courses most difficult holes. So for golfers like me, who visited Rhodes Ranch in January, after some time off as a Midwest golfer, it is a perfect place to get the cobwebs out and to enjoy a very very nice round of golf.
The Golfnow deal we bought included unlimited range practice, any lunch off the full menu, a couple beers, and of course the greens fees and gps cart. Dont use your lunch coupon for a hurried hotdog at the turn, but instead enjoy a full meal after your round. Very nice!

Well-maintained course with a courteous, professional staff.
We played four Vegas courses the week of December 31 and this was by far the best; it was in excellent condition for the time of year. A fair test of golf ability at a reasonable price. A satisfying experience which we look to enjoying again soon.

Course is in great shape
Played here on Dec 27, 2012. The course was in really good shape. People here are always friendly and the homemade bloody mary's help start any golf experience. This place is a little off strip but in a nice development. (Enter off Durango - don't listen to the GPS) Course played great, the greens rolled well. Was able to get 18 in with no issues even at 11:45 tee time. Course is challenging but for the most part easy to score on for the low handicaps. Very enjoybale.

PACE OF PLAY IS WAY TOO SLOW!!!
WASTE OF MONEY!!! Course marshal is worthless!!!
Way too man beginners!! Wouldn't rate the pace of play much higher than your community farm town course! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Will go play at TUSCANY next time!!
Was looking for a course I could become a men's club member at..I will be moving on to the next course this time!
Too bad cause I had a lot of money to spend here!
