Rated 4 out of 5 by Melvin4883269 Great course, tight fairways, undulating greens
Played the course 9/27/15, just after overseeding. Course is in excellent condition although the fairways are still soft from the overseeding and it was cart path only. Tight fairways and subtle undulating greens, lots of pine trees and water. It is somewhat short (> 6300 from the back tees) so it is somewhat of a target course.
Only negative to this course is lack of distance markers and no GPS on the carts. Bring your own GPS and you will have no problem.

by kbrinker Short but Challenging Greens
Golf course is a Pete Dye design. It was in pretty good condition. The greens had a nice pace to them. The worst part of the facility is the double tier driving range because they are land locked. Therefore, they had a net surrounding the range and they had limited flight golf balls that weren't in great condition. The staff was friendly and the golf course had a nice public vibe...

Rated 4 out of 5 by jimmorton2000 Tight course
The course had very tight fairways and often found other golfers looking for their ball in adjoining fairways. Overall a good experience and would play again

Rated 4 out of 5 by uAPEQ1025AP Excellent Fairways, A little Noisy
I live in Clark county and have played most all of the 50 or so courses in the area. DP is normally higher priced for locals than most of the other courses around, so I just never bothered. It's a short course, not too difficult, and was in very good shape. There are some great strip and city views. It is a pretty course. I like bermuda fairways, you most always have a good lie. The greens were soft enough and rolled true. However we were backed up on every hole after 7, and that took a lot of the fun out of the day. The course borders the freeway and the noise from the traffic got to me after awhile. So except for the traffic noise and the long delays it was a good day. I will play there again the next time I notice competitive rates for locals. Until then I will leave it for the LV visitors, who will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gmartin7 This is a nice course
The only thing that was worrier some, on the driving range you hit off mats and there was not enough tees to hit driver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by golfat50 Great Experience
This was my first round at Desert Pines. The course was in fabulous condition considering the time of year in Las Vegas. All of the staff was very pleasant and engaged. The cart attendant was frequent, and very pleasant.
The greens ran true and were speedy as they should be. Despite an enormous amount of unfixed ball marks, I would say, some of the best greens in the valley! The pace of play was steady, and we only waited on a few shots!

by deekom Very Pretty, Great Layout, Great Service
Booked this course on a hot deal. Would have paid more to play here and probably will in the future. A few greens had patches under repair but didn't affect play too much. A lot of par 3s that provide good scoring opportunities. Fairways in very good condition but narrow.
Clubhouse staff friendly and helpful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TWFontenot great course
It's a great course, but it's tougher then it looks. Hit them straight. And the greens are tough but keep below the hole. Just enjoy the experience!!
