Wildhorse Golf Club is home to one of the toughest golf holes in Southern Nevada as well as a great venue for golfers of all abilities. Originally built in 1959, the course was redesigned in 2004 by architects Brian Curley & Lee Schmidt, featuring several holes guarded by shimmering lakes. The championship, par 70 layout is a local’s favorite, and a former stop on the PGA Tour. Wildhorse Golf Club offers an enjoyable round of golf at an affordable price.

The 9th hole, a par 4 measuring 398 yards, and was named the toughest hole in the Las Vegas area by the staff at Vegas Golfer Magazine. Length as well as placement off the tee is essential. Too short, and golfers face a long-iron approach shot into a green that is fronted by a second lake. The right side of the fairway is also closely guarded. If that isn't enough, water comes into play behind the green, leaving the only bailout to the right. One of the finest and toughest golf holes in Southern Nevada, this one has golfers coming back for more.

Would not go back Slow play greens need time to grow and fairway not bad on back 9 October 16, 2014
Good Good course, well taken care of. Very few people on a Sunday afternoon made for a quick round. Only issue was carts were supposed to stay on the cart paths only on this particular day which was annoying. October 6, 2014
Better info needed The staff were friendly the course was in poor shape, maybe the over seeding will help. I booked this course because their was NO CP under the tee time on golf now ( cart path only) and my wife had a hard time finishing with all the walking we had to do. I don't know weather Golf now dropped the ball or wildhorse golf course but it was not a good round. September 30, 2014
Sunny September Slow for a Monday, slower by the fact that cart-path only was in effect. Course was pretty wide open, folks seemed to be enjoying the view of the woods and the airliners flying by more than minding the "keep up the pace of play" on the distance minder in the carts. Overall the fairways were in pretty good shape, as were the greens. Tee Boxes were awful, around the greens, the fringes were in pretty bad shape with mulch filling in the dead-spots. A lot of blind tee shots, with slow-play, made it difficult to remain polite to the group in front. The staff were very courteous, I would play here again and look forward to the conditions improving. September 30, 2014
From Bad to Worse This used to be my home course, but after playing here twice in 2 weeks, I remember why it has been 3 plus years since playing here. They can seemingly grow everything here well except for grass! Granted, they were preparing for overseed when I played Sunday, but still, the tee boxes are in the worst shape I have ever seen. And none are level anymore. They weren't the most level anytime in the past, but they are horrific now. And as usual fro Wildhorse, the fairways and greens have huge areas of dirt where grass won't grow. Oh yeah, I also purchased a HOT Deal where I was supposed to get a free lunch and beverage with my round - wasn't even offered by the course when I payed for my time. It will definitely be a few more years before I play here again. September 16, 2014
love the layout really it needs just a little TLC great layout many risk V.S reward on the dog legs. greens were just seeded a week ago I guess but putted true and good speed. I was paired with a few locals and the company was great and had a good time. What more can I say the staff was very friendly and helpful too. did I say the beer was priced right too not a rip off like many of the other courses September 8, 2014
Great Deal Course was not in good condition but it was a great last minute deal. I would play again, but I would not pay full price. September 2, 2014
Greens are horrible It seemed like they backed a dump truck up to each green and dumped sand on all of them. They were bumpy and slow. Extremely hard to read. Cart had virtually no brakes and literally did not stop until the lock pedal was engaged. Bought a breakfast burrito at 5:45 AM and you would think it would be at least warm if not hot. Burrito's should be served warm. Met some very nice folks we got paired up with to make a foursome and the weather was great other than that this club seems to be over rated for the money they charge. August 23, 2014
