Wildhorse Golf Club is home to one of the toughest golf holes in Southern Nevada as well as a great venue for golfers of all abilities. Originally built in 1959, the course was redesigned in 2004 by architects Brian Curley & Lee Schmidt, featuring several holes guarded by shimmering lakes. The championship, par 70 layout is a local’s favorite, and a former stop on the PGA Tour. Wildhorse Golf Club offers an enjoyable round of golf at an affordable price.

The 9th hole, a par 4 measuring 398 yards, and was named the toughest hole in the Las Vegas area by the staff at Vegas Golfer Magazine. Length as well as placement off the tee is essential. Too short, and golfers face a long-iron approach shot into a green that is fronted by a second lake. The right side of the fairway is also closely guarded. If that isn't enough, water comes into play behind the green, leaving the only bailout to the right. One of the finest and toughest golf holes in Southern Nevada, this one has golfers coming back for more.

Solid Public Course The staff was very helpful and friendly. Course conditions were very good on most of the fairways and greens, spotty on tee boxes and off the fairway. Greens were not hard to read for a first-time outing. Some evidence of deferred maintenance by the City of Henderson. Overall a great buy through Golf Now for 18 holes and a cart. Did not eat or drink on site,. March 24, 2015
A Nice Course Had a great time playing on this course. The layout is nice for us hackers, with some challenges. I was kind of bummed out that the practice greens were much faster than the greens on the course, so had to make adjustments. There were some people in front of us who were pretty slow and no marshals to encourage them to speed up. Variety of food available at the snack bar is pretty limited. March 20, 2015
Greens not in good shape greens were very rough and grass in fairways cut thin with lots of dry patches. Course played like a municipal course with a steep price. Would go to Revere or Sienna for the price. March 16, 2015
Fairways and fringe not in good shape for the money I was surprised how much dead grass there was on most of the holes. I know we have had a strange winter, but many other courses were in much better shape for the same price. Only saw a cart girl one time when we were on the 12 hole. March 13, 2015
Wildhorse Cool golf course in Henderson with some challenging holes and holes that will reward you. No. 9 is one of the hardest golf holes in all of Las Vegas and I can vouch for that. The course in hole is really not to long but some holes are monsters! On the back there is a 250 yard par 3 and a 600+ yard par 5 both from the back tees. This course is one of my favorites here in Vegas because of the challenging holes, great rates and friendly staff. March 4, 2015
Couple of difficult holes The last 2 holes were tough only because you couldn't see what was ahead of you. If you stay in the fairways you'll be fine but they are narrow. February 27, 2015
Could be great The course has a great lay out just in need of some TLC February 24, 2015
Greens very rough This used to be a nice course, but lack of money shows incredible decline. The employees are doing the best they can with what they have! Greens are terrible; bumpy, grass dead or missing. Fairways not bad, tee boxes rough and not level. Don't pay full price or you will be very disappointed! February 6, 2015
