Playing golf at The Quarry has often been described as "taking a walk through a nature preserve." The course is designed in an old rock quarry as it weaves in and out of natural Missouri wetlands teeming with abundant wildlife. The course naturally blends with its surrounding land with each hole separate and distinct allowing the player to enjoy a peace not found on many courses.

The Quarry is a true player's golf course, demanding accuracy and positioning. Yet, while the challenge from the back tees may be too much for many golfers, four additional sets of tees allow players of all abilities to choose the one best suited for their maximum enjoyment.

Conveniently located at I-270 and Interstate 70, The Quarry offers players easy access from all parts of the St. Louis area, especially Lambert International Airport, and the Westport, Clayton and St. Charles areas. Come enjoy a round with us today!

The Quarry at Crystal Springs 3.5 5 23 23
New layout, still enjoyable. I have played at the Quarry both before and after their recent renovation following the tornado damage in April 2011. The new layout flows well for the most part--the exception being the awkward drive up to and back from the elevated 11th tee (formerly #2). The feel of the course is one of being in nature rather than in the middle of a housing development, which is no fun. You will regularly see turtles, great blue herons and other wildlife near the course. The course is kept in good condition and the staff are friendly. Overall I would recommend it to all golfers who are looking for a fun, moderately challenging course in a convenient location, near Creve Coeur Lake. October 4, 2012
Average to good course for the aea. I always enjoy playing this course. The greens are in good, early spring condition; the fairways have not "greened up" yet. The course needs more attention in the rough as there are too many voids in the grass. If you don't mind the geese and what they litter the course with, you should enjoy this course. April 6, 2013
Good Play, Will Be Back! Got out after it had snowed earlier in the week, so it was soggy, but I enjoy the layout and will definitely be back to play it again. One thing I would reccomend is for CSQ to have their new layout mapped by the Golf GPS app. Yardages were a best guess and I don't like to play like that . Either that, or mark yardages better on the course. All in all, CSQ is a great value and has a good location. I will play again soon! April 1, 2013
No Longer Fun Hole 10 (used to be hole 1 before the tornado) was their signature hole. Straight up hill par four that was challenging. That hole has been removed and replaced with a 100 yard par 3 in the middle of the course. So now, outside of hole 11, the course is completely flat. Probably will not return as courses like Bear Creek are way more fun for the same price. March 28, 2013
Easy but must be a shot maker Course has good lay out and features. From tips it only plays around 6200. It might be the longest 6200 yard course i have ever played. Seems to be always hitting into the wind. Great course and good value. Will definitely be going back. March 24, 2013
OK for $22.00, would not likely play again Arrived early for 2pm tee time. Facility was swamped, it was a nice day though, so to be expected. No carts avaialble on arrival. Tee time was at least 20 minutes late, due to apparent frost on the course that morning. Seemed more like they were just letting walk ons through. Starter was nice, people in pro shop dismissive. Course was in decent shape considering the rain. Too many people on the course to allow for steady pace of play. Course details on updated GARMIN do not match up, but probably not the course's problem. Overall, it was a good day to drink beer, stand around waiting and hope to finish, which we just did by sunset. I have played this course prior to the changes and think it was it was a lot better then. Will not return. March 18, 2013
With all do respect with the great weather, the day of golf was ok. Had a issue at the start with a 35 min delay getting to the tee box. The Marshall stated it was due to a frost issue in the morning which is plausible however cart path only didn't help. In addition, actually had to wait for people to get off the course to get a cart. Course seemed to be in decent shape after a wet past few weeks. Finally had to give in and quit for the day at the 13th hole after taking over 4.5 hours to get that far. Will try again in the future, however I hope the day is better organized. March 18, 2013
Price, course condition, location and value for the money are very good. This is a great course to play if you live in West County. Fairways are in very good shape as are the greens. I suggest that they add tee containers to dispose of the broken tees to help maintain all tee boxes. The course has an interesting layout. January 30, 2013
A course that has a a layout that will not let you get bored! I feel it is important to play from the teebox that fits your handicap here or you might make it a little tough on yourself but no matter which you choose it is still a nice course and a word of caution unless I am just unlucky but call ahead to see if it is cartpath only but it still was worth it. January 16, 2013
poor When we arrived, we were told the course was closed. No mention that morning on Golfnow at 9 am when it was booked. December 31, 2012
NICE COURSE Nice course its all right there in front of you not to much undulation on the greens or course. Good place to learn the game. December 16, 2012
The course was in very good shape. The course layout makes the holes challenging for the short distances and I give it high marks for that, but the track of the holes are very unusual in that you are no where near the clubhouse at the turn. I will not be back. December 3, 2012
Nice course with lots of variety I've played here three times now, and I have to say it gets more fun each time. Not the easiest course, but also not the toughest; great for all skill levels. Wide fairways for the most part, and lots of variety among the holes. Course was in good condition, especially given that I played in the middle of November. Will definitely play again, especially if I can find another $20 deal! November 25, 2012
Good shape for fall Greens keepers have done a nice job of clearing leaves and grooming greens considering the time of year. Lots of goose droppings on several holes though, almost like they spread it as fertilizer! Don't like the new layout, but I hear they sold the ground under the old first hole, so probably no fixing that now. Good value for the price. Pace of play was good despite major frost delay pushing back all tee times by an hour or so. November 19, 2012
Quirky and Interesting The course layout is interesting, easy to get lost on the back nine. Some of the fairways are very narrow so low irons or woods should be used. The scorecards do not have a course layout which is a hinderance if you have never played the course before. The greens are in good shape for this late in the year. Two of the holes hold water so they create a natural hazard which is rough. I was really looking forward to playing this course and for 19.00 from Golf Now it was a good deal. I will go back but only after I examine the course layout more thoroughly. It should be noted that a GPS may take you to the old clubhouse so make sure to type in the address not the course name. November 14, 2012
Good layout for public course This facility has a good layout for a public course. In addition it has a good practice facility that's easily accessible. Staff is friendly and courteous. Greens are fast November 9, 2012
Challenging course. Very, very nice course. Was in excellent condition even though we were in middle of a drought! Friendly staff, the starter gave excellent advice for which set of tees to play from. Even with the correct tees, course was still quite a challenge. Good/correct distances for our skill levels. I didn't make a putt all day but it wasn't because of the greens, they were excellent. Beautiful scenery too, saw a couple deer and several geese. October 4, 2012
Risk/Reward The course overall was in very good shape. The greens wer soft and receptive but rolled very smoothly and quick. They wer some of the best rolling greens I have played this year. There are some good risk reward holes and itf the wind is blowing (which it ws) be sure to take an extra club or two. The line of sight on this course made it look deceptively short so be sure of your yardages before selecting a club. All in all I was very pleased and would definitely play the course again when in the St Louis area October 4, 2012
Good course conditions The course conditions were very good. You can get good value with the hot deals. At regular price it isn't a good deal. The pace of play has been slow in most of the rounds I have played here this year. October 4, 2012
Fun and Challenging Course Course appeared well maintained and provided a fun and challenging experience. October 4, 2012
Great course and great price. Highly recommended. I really enjoyed this course. The green were really nice. The course layout is nice and not too difficult. The staff is nice. I rented golf clubs which were Nike. The clubs were almost new. I would recommend this course to anyone. I will play this course again when I'm back in town. September 25, 2012
Great course. Great value This course is a gem. New management has done wonders to improve the overall experience and enjoyablity. The course was in great condition and the recent addition of the par 3 hole to replace/eliminate the old #1 is a huge improvement. The location near Creve Coeur Lake makes it convenient to get to and the scenery is wonderful. This course, especially if played all the way back, is a challenge for even the best of golfers. I highly recommend it. September 23, 2012
Fun Course I have only played this course a few times. It plays long from the black tees and forces you to used the long irons allot. Course was in good shape and priced right. Worth playing. September 20, 2012
