Great to get out after Winter The course was in great shape especially considering the long Winter & all the wetness from the recent snow. The front nine played in 1 1/2 hours, but the back was jammed up so took over 2 hrs, but less than 4 hrs all together so not bad. April 3, 2013
Always well maintained, quick, great value in St. Louis area Always well maintained, quick, great value in St. Louis area, good course for walkers April 3, 2013
The back 9 holes have always been a challenge. I enjoy playing this course for its challenge on the back 9. Traps seem always to be at the point where my drives end. Greens are well kept. February 3, 2013
The staff and course maintanence as always very good Even though this is wintertime play, the course is in graet shape and as always a bit chanllegening January 27, 2013
Friendly staff and great course The staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape for the time of year. I can only imagine how good it will look in season January 18, 2013
Don't miss this coarse! This is a really nice coarse and we were able to book it for a great price. We cancelled with another coarse that we were planning on playing. It was windy the day we played and made it a very challenging. December 16, 2012
quick play interisting course lots of hazards which can be beaten November 19, 2012
The course is in great shape for this time of year, great greens It is a well kept, long course with challenging greens and was really fun to play. November 18, 2012
Fun Course This is a fun course with holes that have shared greens. It is a fun place to play. Pevely Farms and Crescent Farms are close by and I would rate Aberdeen in the middle. Proshop is small. Beware if you are an afternoon player like I am that high school and college golf teams walk the course and that resulted in slow play. November 5, 2012
Great for the price! For the price, I PAID, that is. I probably wouldn't pay the normal $50 fee, but with the discount it was well worth it. The fairways are WIDE and flat, but with the amount of bunkers and tall grass, it creates a bit of a challenge. The par 3s are a little short. Each golf cart has a GPS in it which was kind of nice. Overall nice course, would play again. October 31, 2012
Beautiful The course was in great condition, but the aerated greens made it a guess game on the greens. October 23, 2012
Don't play late in the day Course was pretty chewed up. Maybe they had a tourney or something. Played after 2 pm. The pins were in some really DUMB spots, like 4 feet from the edges. The course owner plays by his own rules, like playing with 5 players. October 10, 2012
good deal Nice course, moderate to good in condition and difficulty. good to better for pace and cast. October 8, 2012
Outstanding value for the money! Course in great condition. Best I have ever seen it. October 6, 2012
Course owner makes slow play My wife and I took little golf vacation trip at St. Louis area. Everything about course was wonderful except when we get to back 9 there were 4 some walking plays slower pace. We hear from club house that 4 some is the onwer of course and friends so they would not dare to tell him anything. Just about every shot and hole we have to wait for a while and they would not offer pass through. After waiting game for few hole and my fun of golf game went to south and my wife was pretty angry. I am also small business owner that I would put my customer to my first priority and certainly he didi not care about it. October 5, 2012
Fun, challenging course. Course is in great shape. I like the links style of this course. October 5, 2012
links course with subtle features, fun to play, hard to master Aberdeen is a links course featuring native grass mounds, fairway bunkers, and burns that frame the driving areas. The greens have strategic bunkers and collection areas for errant shots. The putting surfaces themselves are sloping and contoured well, with good rolling speeds, without getting out of control in the wind. Depending on weather and wind this course will present different challenges for every round. A strong finish is made more difficult by a large lake that separates both the ninth and eighteenth fairways from tee to green. Bring some game, pick your lines, and execute well for a great round, if you are a little off you'll want another chance on another day, but don't be surprised if the course beats you another way tomorrow.
