Good all around Good challenging course for my brother in laws and I, nice pace of play and used all of the clubs in my bag. Only thing negative to say was the food wasn't the best and the bathrooms were kind of nasty. Other than those two things, we were extremely satisfied with our experience and will be back!, March 23, 2015
Nice layout and fair greens Not too hard of a course to score on if you play smart off the tee and on the greens. March 16, 2015
wide open I like the golf course its one of my top course I would choose to go play at I like the wide open play and straight fairways. but on the other hand I did have a bad experience not to long ago on the 18th of January I had a tee time set for 8:24 am and I arrived at the course at 8:15 and the gate was still locked so I sat and waited a lil bit I even called and no answer so I left and went to warrenton golf course and by the time I made it to warrenton a lady called me from sunvalley and was wandering about my tee time and I told her I had one at 8:24 and I was there and no one else was the gate was locked and she informed me that she got there at 8:45 so I was out my gas and time driving there I didn't understand if u had early tee times on the websit but no one gets there till 8:45 what is the point on putting early tee times on the site. also when I arrivd at warrenton golf course the gentleman working also said another lady is coming from sunvalley cause she to arrived for her tee time and no one was there January 20, 2015
Challenging & beautiful Not only is this one of the most beautiful courses in the St. Louis Metro area but it is definitely one the most challenging! That big ole slope rating is correct. Long narrow fairways are like threading a needle for the novice player....well worth the humiliation to get to play this hidden secret........... November 2, 2014
One of my favorite courses in the area. Great views from almost every hole. Tees, fairways and greens are as good as any public course in the Greater St. Louis area. This course is a real sleeper, and I recommend it highly. The staff truly goes out f their way to please. September 1, 2014
Something a little different This is an interesting layout. Lots of tall grass makes it play fairly tight. Rolling hills and mature trees add to the challenge. Played from the white tees, but it's still a little shortish. The 710-yard par 6 with a blind tee shot is a novelty, but hard to figure out for the first-time player of the course. We practically had the course to ourselves on an early Saturday afternoon, which was a bonus. Not a "don't miss" course, but worth the drive for a change of pace. August 24, 2014
great potential Course is in a very nice setting. It could be a great course just needs some improvements to Cart path and some.tee box areas. But it has a good value and some nice greens. Will be one of my regular courses. August 9, 2014
What a view! This course offers beautiful panoramic views of the Central Valley from a number of tee boxes. The environment is serene and quiet. Lots of good opportunities for long straight drives. A couple 500+ yard holes give more than enough opportunity to get out there and really go for the gusto. However, a drive that doesn't run reasonably straight is punished rather harshly as the wooded areas, and tall grass are very dense. The course provides a good deal of challenge for experienced golfers, and is still easy enough for a novice to go out and sharpen their skill set. Pace is good and most of the patrons are pretty laid back. We didn't encounter anyone that was unwilling to let a faster group play through. The course staff is very friendly, and the carts are late model so there is no issue with mechanical failure. The bathrooms in the clubhouse leave something to be desired, but we'll give them a little slack. Given their location its very likely that their are on well water and septic tanks. The cart paths could use some attention, and the maybe the bushes trimmed a bit along the path in some spots. Overall we had a great experience here. And will definitely be returning again.
