Braeside Golf Club is a championship design layout that proves a true test for the advanced golfer. From the blue back tees, our par-72 course plays at 6,638 yards, and the par 3’s are possibly the most challenging in West Michigan. Designed for golfers of all skill levels, our four sets of tees; White-6,201 yards and Green-5,781 yards make Braeside Golf Club a very fair, challenging, and fun golf experience. From the forward Red tees the course measures 5,267 yards, very manageable for golfers with a shorter, straighter drive.

Regardless of your length off the tee or ability level, your short game will play an important role in scoring while playing Braeside Golf Club. Manage your approach shots and our quick, beautifully-maintained greens will reward those players who putt well.

Both the front and the back nine’s have challenging par 5’s that will bring you back to play here time and time again. They can be reached in two for the powerful player, but there are also a number of ways to attack them for all skill levels.

Braeside Golf Course 3.8 5 17 17
The greens were awesome. The course plays tough when you go astray, as it should. The greens were great, true and fast. September 12, 2013
Greens Need Work Greens were hard as a rock and it looked like the cups hadn't been changed in a week. The course used to be nice but it seems they are letting it go. August 25, 2013
Very fun course to play This course is not the most difficult course, nor the best kept I have played on, but it is certainly a fun course to take my friends out to play. I play here often and the staff is always friendly and the drinks are very reasonably priced. The only thing that bothers me is that even with a good drive or lay-up shot right down the middle of the fairway, many times you end up on a hill at strange angles. I like the hills in the course, but there are so many of them that it becomes a chore at times. I feel like if I hit a great shot down the middle I shouldn't have to worry that often about what angle the hill my ball landed on is at. August 11, 2013
Outstanding value Braeside has been a secret delight for many people. Great value, nicely maintained but fairways are not always lush everywhere on the course. So that is reflected in the price. Bunkers are not soft, many bumps and hills and dales, water. Greens are fine, medium fast, and usually tricky. No whole is easy: if putting is easy, then there's fairway trickery. This will challenge the best golfer, even though there are no black tees. So what. Hit your 3 iron then. This remains my go-to August 5, 2013
Great Test of Golf. Braeside will test your game, having played many tournaments and a regular "trunk slammer" rotation, Braeside has a mix of it all with 18 as a tough test Par 4 as the #1 handicap hole. With true greens, it's always a pleasure to play a one of a kind course. PK July 23, 2013
Nice place, needs some work Used to be one of my favorite courses to play up in Grand Rapids. However, just played it in July 2013 and the tee boxes and greens were rock hard and in need of some watering / aeration. And the gnats/bugs on and around the course were really, really bad to the point of distracting you from playing golf. Hopefully they can find a way to correct these issues and get this course back into shape. July 15, 2013
This course is fun layout This is a public golf course. The greens that are in shade are not so good. The tee boxes were in rough shape. For the money it is a fun layout that will challenge you off the tee to keep straight. The greens were medium speed but the ones in the sun rolled better. July 12, 2013
Greens are in great shape. Course overall was in great shape. Greens were very nice well maintained. July 6, 2013
