Deer Run Golf Club was built in 1969 and opened for play in 1973. It has matured into one of the greatest tests of golf in West Michigan. The well manicured golf course stretches out to nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is as challenging from tee to green as any golf course in the state. Deer Run Golf Club is positioned on a beautiful piece of property just north of I-96 in Lowell, Michigan and is surrounded by stands of oak trees and apple orchards.

Deer Run Golf Club has been the choice for hundreds of golf outings over the past three decades and continues to host over fifty events annually. The banquet facility seats up to 250 guests and the event tent will hold over 350 golfers. From our award winning Chef, to our Four Star championship golf course, Deer Run Golf Club is the perfect choice for any organization looking to raise money through the great game of golf.

Good course I like this course and will totally come back. The back 9 especially is fun and has challenges. June 26, 2015
Great course for the $ The golf shop and staff were extremely friendly, thank you Toni. The course was in good condition, no complaints at all. Nice big greens. Highly recommend if you want to get a quick 18 in with some friends and family. June 24, 2015
Good course great time Good course and friendly staff. Was wet but still a great experience. Good bang for the buck June 15, 2015
Would have to pay me to play here again This course was terrible mostly because of the quantity and lack of class of other players on the course. I heard yelling during my backswing and had my ball stolen out of my own fairway twice. Additionally - the course is in awful condition. Most of the cups were not fully cut. The fairways were pure mud. The rough was way too long. May 17, 2015
Rough was extremely long Have played here before and was never impressed, but the course has actually gone downhill vs last time I played here. Rough was extremely long which made it very difficult to find your ball if you weren't in the middle of the fairway. The 2 best things about the round were: - saw 6 deer run across the fairway into nearby woods - had the course to ourselves, which made for a nice leisurely round. sad thing though... a beautiful Fri afternoon and nobody playing here. Maybe they all knew about the condition of the course. May 10, 2015
Swamp This course shouldn't have been open. There was a LOT of casual water, every shot was plugged. Driving range wasn't open, all greens were airated. We played the first day the course was open, owner admitted that the course was closed the day before our round, but she couldn't close our day because it "would kill them." Links course in the middle of a corn field. Go play somewhere with a higher elevation in early season. April 12, 2015
Depends on when you play This could be a really nice course but I don't think they have enough employees to keep it up to snuff. I play here quite a bit. Sometimes the course is in great shape, other times the greens seem like they haven't been moved in a week and the fairways and rough need some work. Other times, all is good. Granted, Iast time I played was mid-October and there were so many leaves you almost couldn't play. The lady in the club house needs to work on her PR. Rude is a strong word but makes you feel like you are simply in the way. October 25, 2014
Played on the wrong day Three days of torrential rain left course in soggy, wet condition. Greens were still nice and drained well. Fairways were pretty mushy, course is fairly flat so drainage was a problem. Staff is friendly and clubhouse is spacious. October 9, 2014
