Calderone Farms Golf Club
This challenging course is one of Southern Michigan's top affordable public golf courses. The course is a mixture of links style holes similar to St. Andrews or some of the great courses of Scotland along with traditional style holes. Several of the greens at Calderone provide a challenge not unlike what you would expect if you playing at the Masters in Augusta Georgia. Most of the holes are lined with heather similar to what you might see at the British Open, while others are lined with trees not unlike Pinehurst.
The 18-hole "Calderone Farms" course at the Calderone Farms Golf Club facility in Grass Lake, Michigan features 7,001 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 72.1 and it has a slope rating of 136 on Bent grass. Designed by William Newcomb, the Calderone Farms golf course opened in 2001.
