Great shape for this time of year
Grand Haven is looking good in December!
If the shape that it is in now is any indicator, I imagine it will be excellent next spring!

In good condition for this time of year.
The greens were a little slow because of not being mowed but that is understandable for this time of year. They have done a good job of keeping the greens free of leaves by blowing them off. Had my best round of the year.

Not much rooom for error...
As an 18 handicapper, this is probably the top challenge I would want to handle. The trees are overhanging the fairways and intimidating. Though, all in all, I enjoyed our day and felt for the time of year, the course was in exceptional shape.

Have played many times but didn't play this past Sunday due to bad weather.
GHGC is one of the top courses in W. Mi. I rank it up there with Stonegate , Thorough Bread and Grandview in New Era. In fact I think it is the most challenging of the three mentioned above and the most fun when the greens are running fast.

Top course in the area
Grand Haven has always been known as one of the best places to play. Well maintained, fast greens, and lots of trouble to get into.
It is a challenge for any level golfer, and a must play if you never have.

wet day and may need addtl drainage
played the course for the 40th time. the conditions were good, despite the weather. greens had been airrated but putted as good as not. there was a lot of standing water on the fairways. the course is a good challenge from the white tees, better from the blues for the average golfer

Tight course, great greens
Grand Haven is a tight, but very enjoyable course. The greens are fast and in great condition. The bunkers and fairways are well maintained.

Tough course!
very hard course if you cant hit the ball straight. very thin fairways with tall trees and woods on both sides.

Well worth the trip from Grand Rapids
I played the course after many years of not being able to and found it to be even better than I remembered.
Accuracy is a must and length does help as well.
The course was well manicured and the greens quick and true.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
All in all an excellent experience.
