Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 65 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Interesting and quite challenging Although there are spotty areas on some fairways, the course is in mostly good condition, and the greens are in good shape with lots of contours on several. Local knowledge helps a great deal since there are several blind shots, and it isn't always obvious where the hole is located until you get closer. Holes that cross the river can be especially challenging unless you're a long hitter as occasionally it's wiser to lay up. Most of the par 5s are uninspired, but some of the par 4s and 3s make up for that, with good variety. Overall, it's a pleasant experience with helpful staff and plenty of challenge from most golfers, depending on which tees you choose. Many tee boxes could use some work, however. November 7, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rouge Park is the best of Detroit This is a very fun course to play. It has a plenty of very challenging, very fun holes. Hole 8 is a great par 3 100 feet above the tee and 12 will give you quite a challenge. Most of the fairways are wide enough to allow you to miss a shot or two and still keep a decent score. The course is in good condition. Greens are well maintained as well as the fairways. The tee boxes need a little help and need to be leveled. Rouge Park is the best course in Detroit without question and there is a driving range across the street to get a little practice in before you tee off. I would also recommend their hamburgers. Rated 4 out of 5 by Hidden Gem The location of the course is a little offsetting. Once your on the course, you wouldn't believe your in the same area. Beautiful course, and well maintained. I loved the adversity of holes. Straight fairways, doglegs, raised greens, downhill shots, 3,4, and 5 pars. Not to mention lots of wildlife and scenic holes. Truly enjoyed 18 for a buck a hole booked on GN. Friendly staff even told me to play another 9 when i finished free of charge due to some rain, and not many customers on that day. September 4, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Course near downtown I was surprise why I did not play at this course, this is very near to Detroit downtown and somehow I did not notice. It was well maintained and the course offers a moderate difficulty. I played 18 holes alone. Some of the holes are challenging and the fairways are well maintained. Greens are positive and I enjoyed playing this course. I would recommend to my friends and wish to play here again. August 10, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great bones, poor execution The fact they close 9 holes for some league may be the issue with the pace of play but they were letting singles both in cart and walking out with 4 somes. Obviously that does not work. Took me 3 hours to play 9. Course is in very average condition but acceptable. Sprinkles came on while I was on the green on 3 holes. I don't think I'm the clientele that is being catered too, so I must put the disclaimer that my review is from my perspective which may be biased. August 6, 2015
