View Tee Times

The fourth of the five Gull Lake View courses was designed in 1965 by William Mitchell and was purchased by the Scott Family in 1988. This 18-hole facility is one of Michigan's most frequent championship sites. The classic design is known locally as "The Big Course," with huge greens, large bunkers, and fairways lined with mighty oaks. Golf purists rave about the course's shot values and overall challenging layout. Bedford Valley has been host to the Michigan Open, Michigan Senior Open, Michigan Maxfli PGA Junior Championship, Michigan Publinx State Match Play, and the NCAA III National Championship. With a practice facility, professional staff, and a friendly atmosphere, Bedford Valley is a course you will want to visit many times.

Gull Lake View's Bedford Valley Golf Club won Michigan Golf Course Owners Association (MGCOA) "Michigan Golf Course of the Year" Award for 2010

great greens nice staff, new electric carts, very nice greens, well maintained course, nice clubhouse. July 10, 2014
Everything is outstanding I booked 7:23am thru Golf Now and we could start even 10min earlier. It was so smooth playing there were no player before and after us. We finished the round 3 and 1/2 hours. Every green was well maintained and faster than average. I enjoyed very much. Thanks Golf Now for introducing this course with very affordable rate! Hope to play soon!!! June 29, 2014
Championship style course This course is always well maintained, is longer than most courses you play, nice large greens. You could walk this course pretty easily even though it is long there are no real hills to walk. June 1, 2014
1st time golfing this year Course was in good shape for not having any warm weather yet. Alot easier to play before the rough grows thick. April 14, 2014
Gull lake area There are better courses for the money then Bedford Valley. Yarrow is much better and the slow play at Bedford is something that needs to be addressed. September 17, 2013
Old School There is a reason Golf Digest gives Bedford a 4.5 star rating. Beautiful rolling layout - no blind shots, 30 yard wide fairways with deep rough and large deep bunkers with great sand I played it all the way back at 6980 yards - it was fun however the wind was up and I misclubed a few times. I asked the pro shop how the 17th hole - a 230 yard par 3 was the 18th handicap hole and they just chuckled and understood - # 11 is a 232 downhill par 3 but all carry due to a bunker across the whole front of the green. The greens were large decently fast and true. My only complaint was a few tree limbs have grown out into the fairway and you have to move the ball off the tee left to right and they over hang into the fairway which gives you even less room to hit the fairway. The second shot on the last par 5 on the back has zero bailout on the left due to water / swamp all down that side and you have to move your second shot left to right to get to the 100 yard marker there is another large limb reducing the area to move the ball through especially if you are trying to get home in 2. Overall it's hard but a marvelous golf course. September 3, 2013
Great track, well maintained and very friendly staff. A beautiful day and a beautiful course that has been well maintained. Greens were moderately quick but still receptive to scoring irons., Putting was somewhat tricky but greens were well groomed and putts held their lines. Fairways were in very good shape and the tee boxes were well marked and fair. Pace of play started off a bit slow but picked up quickly. Overall, it was a great round on a true gem of a course! I highly recommend playing here! September 2, 2013
Nice course, beautiful setting Nice course for the Golf Now price, wouldn't pay full price. Fairways and greens nicely mowed, not too tight or fast. Lots of huge bunkers, some with not much sand in them, easy to scull it. Very quiet beautiful setting. Saw a Red Tail Hawk so close could just about touch it. Overall a very enjoyable round of golf. Will play again as long as get Golf Now discount. September 2, 2013
