Quail Ridge was started when Randy Erskine, a five-time Michigan Open Champion and former PGA Tour player, partnered with Michigan's own renowned architect, Raymond Hearn and 15 other investors to create a "great golf course with classic lines...that would be playable for players of all levels."

Quail Ridge was opened in 1998. This 18-hole championship course is known for its stunning natural beauty and lush greenery. The most obvious characteristics are the generous fairways and greens. Large trees, gentle hills, water and bunkers come into play, but with five sets of tees, everyone in your foursome or family can have a great time playing at Quail Ridge. Our multiple tees and minimal number of forced carries make the course playable and friendly for all levels of players. We know you will love our course after your first experience, so come out and see us at Quail Ridge!

Tough Greens I must have had 4 3-putts in the first 12 holes before my son and his friend and I played best ball the last 6 holes. Get in in the fairway and close to the green and a single-digit handicap golfer may get it up and down one out of five times; something I'm not used to. Shot a 42 with a birdie on third hole and that was a whale of a round for a 7 handicap!? Fun course! Just get it close to avoid the 3 putts. : ) September 22, 2014
Beautiful setting! A very enjoyable layout with a good variety of holes. Generous landing areas of the tees and large greens allow for good scoring. Would recommend some signage on hole #5 giving yardage to the first hazard and then info on what distance to hit on second shot. Enjoy the course the few times I have played, but the only complaint is that the greens need to be toned down on the stimpmeter. If you are above the hole you are most likely going 6 to 8 feet past hole. On the 3rd green my playing partner was on the back of the green and hit a decent putt and rolled completely off the front of the green. September 20, 2014
great deal on golfnow was just over $1/hole which was amazing! Rate of play was excellent so no complaints. September 15, 2014

best course for the price Course was in great condition, fantastic course for the price August 31, 2014
Nice course The course is in fantastic shape. Challenging greens, rarely a straight putt. Fair landing areas when teeing off. August 17, 2014
Beautiful Course was in immaculate condition. We were the first ones out for the day so pace of play was very fast with no pressure. Greens were super fast even though it was 7am and they were covered in dew. The thing that I appreciated the most was the grounds crew. We ran into several of them out mowing and fertilizing as we were playing they would stop there equipment everytime we went to dress the ball and move out of our way if needed. August 15, 2014
Good test of golf Good test if golf that will have you playing a variety of shots will all the clubs in the bag. A little pricey for what you can get in the Grand Rapids area . Lots of bunkers, hazards and challenging greens. Well maintained. Definitely worth playing if you haven't played it before, you will know for yourself after playing if it's what you are looking for in a course. August 10, 2014
