Quail Ridge was started when Randy Erskine, a five-time Michigan Open Champion and former PGA Tour player, partnered with Michigan's own renowned architect, Raymond Hearn and 15 other investors to create a "great golf course with classic lines...that would be playable for players of all levels."

Quail Ridge was opened in 1998. This 18-hole championship course is known for its stunning natural beauty and lush greenery. The most obvious characteristics are the generous fairways and greens. Large trees, gentle hills, water and bunkers come into play, but with five sets of tees, everyone in your foursome or family can have a great time playing at Quail Ridge. Our multiple tees and minimal number of forced carries make the course playable and friendly for all levels of players. We know you will love our course after your first experience, so come out and see us at Quail Ridge!

Nice course The course is in fantastic shape. Challenging greens, rarely a straight putt. Fair landing areas when teeing off. August 17, 2014
Beautiful Course was in immaculate condition. We were the first ones out for the day so pace of play was very fast with no pressure. Greens were super fast even though it was 7am and they were covered in dew. The thing that I appreciated the most was the grounds crew. We ran into several of them out mowing and fertilizing as we were playing they would stop there equipment everytime we went to dress the ball and move out of our way if needed. August 15, 2014
Good test of golf Good test if golf that will have you playing a variety of shots will all the clubs in the bag. A little pricey for what you can get in the Grand Rapids area . Lots of bunkers, hazards and challenging greens. Well maintained. Definitely worth playing if you haven't played it before, you will know for yourself after playing if it's what you are looking for in a course. August 10, 2014
Every time I am n GR Other than a cart girl who was clueless it was an outstanding course. Well worth the price. A little off the betten path but well worth the drive. NOT a good course to walk due to green to tee distances. Outstanding greens, fairways well watered. Normally a blue tee guy but whites would have been enough, especially as all the par threes are LONG. I will definitely play it again when in W MI. August 7, 2014
Nice course, Fast greens They had just rolled the greens before we played so they were pretty fast but in great condition. Listen to the starters advice for #5. It's a tricky par 5 wrapped around water on the right side the whole way. We got a great price on Golf Now. August 4, 2014
Very nice for the price It was a very nice course for the price I bought it at. It would have been good for full price. Lightning fast greens and nice fairways. August 3, 2014
Longest round of golf I have EVER played in my life. The course was obviously over sold. There should not be 2 to 3 foursomes backed up on almost every T. The round took nearly 6 hrs. I can't say I enjoyed their greens very much either. They were very dried out and quite rough. The ball did not role very well. There was more than one occasion the ball took a number of hops on its way to the hole. All in all not a great experience not to mention it made me very late and I got in trouble with my wife who absolutely never has a problem with my golf obsession . August 2, 2014
Nice Course but Rates are Ridiculous This is the closest course to my house and I am a frequent player, but each year the rates become more of a joke. This course has no business charging over $50 on the weekend, and it's still almost as expensive during the week. I like the course but Q-North management has no idea how to price it. There are much nicer courses in the area for the money, which is a shame, because my only complaint is the rates. If you don't care about value for your $$$, give it a try, but coming from someone who plays multiple times per week, it's tough to schedule this one in when you can find deals for 1/3 of the price for courses of similar value. Pace of play is great, because not many sane people are willing to pay for a course this overpriced. I don't suspect this course will stay in business much longer due to the lack of play and insane rates. August 1, 2014
