Quail Ridge was started when Randy Erskine, a five-time Michigan Open Champion and former PGA Tour player, partnered with Michigan's own renowned architect, Raymond Hearn and 15 other investors to create a "great golf course with classic lines...that would be playable for players of all levels."

Quail Ridge was opened in 1998. This 18-hole championship course is known for its stunning natural beauty and lush greenery. The most obvious characteristics are the generous fairways and greens. Large trees, gentle hills, water and bunkers come into play, but with five sets of tees, everyone in your foursome or family can have a great time playing at Quail Ridge. Our multiple tees and minimal number of forced carries make the course playable and friendly for all levels of players. We know you will love our course after your first experience, so come out and see us at Quail Ridge!

Great course, some very nice holes, well worth the money. Course was in good shape for this time of year. Faiways were recently aerated so they were a little choppy, hence winter rules.lots of work going on, but that must be done. Great track. October 30, 2013
Great course It started to rain so we only got in nine. But course was in great shape for the fall weather. October 21, 2013
great condition excellent condition for this time of year. nice greens and fairways October 15, 2013
Very Challenging Greens Course was very wet, but greens extremely fast. Pace of play was frustrating. September 30, 2013
Very well maintained course and lots of fun features to play. All greens, fairways, and rough were very consistent to play through and it was a very enjoyable round. September 4, 2013
Beautiful Course Quail Ridge is a favorite course of mine. Very well maintained and beautiful scenery. Challenging par 5's but playable by all levels. Huge multi-level greens that are usually lighting fast. If you like to use all the clubs in your bag during a round, this place will surely make you do that. Always a great 18. Pace of play is sometimes a little slow though. Only complaint. September 4, 2013
A bit of a hidden gem in Grand Rapids. I love this course, especially for the value compared with comparable, higher-priced courses like Thornapple Pointe. 5 sets of tees to give a challenge to any handicapper, smooth fairways, and large undulating greens that roll true and with reasonable speed. Pin placements can make this a very challenging course, and you are going to use every club in your bag with dog legs and water aplenty. September 3, 2013
This course is more challenge than a 14-18 handicapper needs. Greens were so hard and fast with pin placements ridiculous that the average player had very little chance of enjoying their round. For a US open qualifier, I doubt anyone would break par with those green conditions. August 31, 2013
