Parkersburg Golf Courses

Playing golf in the Parkersburg metro area can be relaxing or a challenge, depending on where you go. The area has over a dozen golf courses to choose from, all fairly easy to get to from I-77. Parkersburg is a port town on the Ohio River. In the middle of the river sits Blennerhasset Island. Now a historic state park and mansion offering tours, Aaron Burr purportedly hid out on the island and plotted treason a year after he famously shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel. When you play golf here, you will tee-off at 625 feet above sea level with drivers—not pistols—at dawn.
