Michigan is simply a great place to golf, and you have a lot of options for play in Monroe. Halfway between Toledo and Detroit, Monroe is on Lake Erie and the Raisin River. The site of the bloodiest battle in the War of 1812, the Raisin River now runs through a charming downtown. Monroe is the World Headquarters for La-Z-Boy, which suggests comfortable chairs might be easy to find around here. When you play golf in Monroe, you will tee-off at about 600 feet above sea level.
