Modesto Courses
Modesto is located almost right in the center of the state of California, on the Tuolumne River; bordered by the Stanislaus River and San Joaquin River. With a climate that consists of hot, dry summers, cool to mild winters, and temperate spring and fall seasons, it makes it pretty easy to book a tee time year round. More than ever, visitors are coming to Modesto and enjoying all the recreation it has to offer. In addition to 12 golf courses, the Modesto Metro Area has plenty of parks, hiking trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic areas, ballfields and swimming pools for people of all ages to take advantage of.
When you are in the Modesto area, you may want to check out the Legends West Course at Diablo Grande. This award-winning classic course with surrounding rolling hills and vineyard waiting for after the game was co-designed by famous golf professionals Gene Sarazen and Jack Nicklaus.
