For savvy Chicagoans, Michigan City is a secret getaway just 50 miles from the city. And it's no wonder people want to keep it secret. On the shores of Lake Michigan and adjacent to Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, you're miles away from the clamor and in a great place to play some golf! After your round, check out Michigan City's popular lighthouse and pier that extends north from quaint Heisman Harbor. Mt. Baldy is a 175-foot sand dune that makes a great sundown perch. Probably won't need your sand wedge for that one, though.
